Today we’d like to introduce you to Caroline Valentino
Hi Caroline, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I moved from São Paulo, Brazil, to the United States in 2016 after graduating with a degree in Communications. In search of a new life with my family, I embraced every opportunity that came my way. In the first six months, I worked in hotels as a housekeeper and supervisor—since I already spoke English—and also in laundry services.
Then, in October 2016, I got an opportunity as a receptionist at a real estate agency, and that’s when I stepped into the world of real estate. At first, I assisted with residential property management, but over time, I started learning about transactions, supporting agents, and working closely with the brokers at the firm.
In 2019, I was given the opportunity to manage an office alongside two brokers. This role allowed me to expand my knowledge, oversee daily operations, handle transactions, manage payments, coordinate training sessions, and much more.
I loved the office I worked at, but I always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I wanted the freedom to manage my own schedule, break away from routine, and play a key role in such an important moment for so many families. Brazilian buyers often spend years planning their investments, and words can’t describe the emotions of seeing them finally achieve their dream.
That’s when I decided to take the lead in these life-changing moments. From the very beginning, I had clients who trusted my work—and many of them still do to this day. They refer me to friends, share my videos, and we’ve built lasting relationships based on trust and friendship.
I truly cherish that. My goal is to provide honest, transparent service where my clients become part of a big family here in Orlando! We don’t just celebrate the moment they receive their keys—we create memories together beyond the home-buying process.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was a journey filled with challenges. Looking back at my first few months working in a hotel, I remember one of my first days when the housekeepers who spoke Spanish gathered in the break room and started speaking really fast so I wouldn’t understand—they laughed among themselves. Coming from a big city, that didn’t really affect me, but still, no one wants to arrive in a new country and feel left out.
Here, you truly start from zero. Even if you speak English, you have to learn how to communicate effectively, adapt to a new culture, and navigate all the bureaucracy of a different country.
Friendship is another tricky part. You have to learn who to trust.
I also worked some nights at a friend’s restaurant after finishing my shift at the hotel to earn extra money and achieve my goals here.
We’ve been impressed with Caroline Valentino , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have worked with many different professionals throughout my career, and when I got my real estate license, I realized that honest agents often take longer to stand out in the market—but once they do, their path is solid. That’s exactly what I strive for.
My specialty is working with foreign buyers, especially Brazilians who are investing or relocating to the United States and looking for their first property. But I’m not just the person who sells them a house—I go beyond that. I help them open a bank account, set up meetings with accountants and attorneys, arrange transportation from the airport to their hotel, and most importantly, I am their trusted point of contact for anything they need regarding their property. I am the person they can count on, no matter what.
Honesty is a core value for me. I never let my clients sign a contract unless they are 100% sure they are making a good deal. If their dream home or investment isn’t exactly what they imagine, I will be upfront about it. My job is to solve their problems using my market expertise.
I want my clients to have an exceptional experience. I always go above and beyond to ensure they feel taken care of, guided, and stress-free throughout the entire process. Their only concern should be choosing their dream home—I’ll handle everything else.
Any big plans?
I have many plans on paper, but I believe it’s important to always align them with God’s plans. I’d rather come back for another interview and share them once they come to life. For now, I just want to express my gratitude for everything that has been happening, for the trust my clients place in me and in my work.
