Today we’d like to introduce you to Cory Perun.
Hi Cory, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I have been working on cars since I was 15 years old, translating to being a fighter jet technician in the Air Force. After my career in the Air Force, I was fortunate to get a job with Boeing, building the 787 in Charleston, SC. After 4 years there, I applied to work for Boeing at Kennedy Space Center, building the first manned spaceships to return to the space station. During my time there, I wanted to have a side hobby, and I always watched satisfying wrap videos on YouTube and IG; I thought that would be a great way to change the look of my car without having to deal with repainting and permanently changing the factory paint. So I started wrapping my car out of my home garage, eventually wrapping the entire car. That turned into people commenting about my car and wanting theirs done.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It has not been smooth; there have been a lot of ups and downs. I am learning how to gain customer trust, get my name out there as a reputable brand and company, and make sure my work is top-quality and what I offer differs from others to help me stand out.
Great, so let’s get down to business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a family-owned, family-owned, and veteran-operated auto restyling shop. We specialize in automotive vinyl wraps, paint protection film, tint, auto detailing, and ceramic coat. We are not a big name-brand business. We have fair and competitive pricing and want to make restyling affordable for anyone. My wife and I run the shop together. She handles all the interior auto details and helps me with the wraps and paint protection jobs.
Who else deserves credit for your story?
My wife is my biggest supporter. When I started doing this full-time and left my cushy six-figure job at the space center, she supported me, knowing that I would make this work for us no matter what.
Pricing:
- $2800 Tesla wraps
- Average wrap cost is $3200
- $600 starting ceramic coats
