Today we’d like to introduce you to Delroy Robinson. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Delroy Robinson started his real estate career in 1997, he had worked for two of the top Real Estate franchises in the United States. Century 21, Inc & Re/Max, Inc.
In 2006, he became a Real Estate broker and opened his own company, Robinson & Associates Realty, LLC. Delroy has offices in two locations, Orlando in Central FL, and Coral Springs in South FL. Prior to real estate Delroy earned an associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. He subsequently worked at Motorola Inc… for three years, he also worked as a sales associate at high stores including Nordstrom Inc. He later ventured into real estate as an investor and then obtained his license a year later in July of 1997.
Delroy is married with three children two adults and one minor. He enjoyed reading, watching sports, occasionally playing a round of golf, traveling, sightseeing, coaching, and consulting. Delroy believes that his purpose is to “Add value to people, both personally and professionally, to do what is necessarily required to help others accomplish their full potential and reach their destiny.”
In November of 2018, Delroy co-founded a “Master Mind” group for Real Estate Brokers with boutique offices.
We started with ten brokers and grew to twenty-five plus and still growing. Our mission statement is: “To help each broker’s increase their business productivity through structured, positive, professional, and meaningful relationships.” Delroy volunteers twice a month at the Broward Outreach Center, in Hollywood Florida. His class focuses on “life’s Purpose” teaching men and women who are in transition how to let go of their past mistakes and reach forward towards their future.
Inspiring them to conceptualize that their latter years can be far greater than their former years. Delroy presently served on the Florida Realtors – Legislative and Regulatory Business Issues. Think Tank Group. Words that describe Delroy: He is loving, caring, attentive to detail, authentic, self-motivated, and listened well.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Real estate can be very challenging but also very rewarding. One of the most frequent issues that I have dealt with over the years is communicating and cooperating with other agents. An agent that is not well trained makes the job of a realtor sometimes very difficult.
As an experienced agent, often I have to do their job and mine when both of us are representing the buyers and sellers respectively. Secondly, especially in this market today, dealing with multiple offers on the same property. It is frustrating for us, let alone the buyer that is making their highest and best offer. Thirdly, dealing with prolong appraisal scheduling and only to get the final report and the property is not appraised. at the purchase price.
Representing the sellers has its own challenges. Seller’s expectations and sometimes misinformation about what their houses are worth, has been difficult to get them to focus on the true comparative marketing analysis (CMA). With technology and social media, so much information is inaccurate regarding “what’s a house worth.” Finally, the biggest challenge that I have experienced in the last few years is low inventory.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I listened to several motivational speakers, such as Zig Ziggler, John Maxwell, Brian Tracy just to name a few. I have also read several of their books. Their contribution to the business of real estate and to my personal growth is invaluable.
One of the individuals that I learned a lot from also, is the former broker that I worked for when I was at Century 21 Real Estate, his work ethic and is a commitment to the business was very inspiring to me. My family is my biggest cheerleader during good times and challenging times.
There were times that I have pending transactions that (blew up) didn’t close and I was depending on the funds to cover my expenses, they would always say to me let’s pray. “God will take care of it.” My faith and my personal devotion, have been a source of my strength. I could not have accomplished what we as a company have done without God’s help!
