Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Gracyn Baldwin.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have lived in Orlando since 2016, when I started college at the University of Central Florida, Go Knights. I then moved away for a few years over to Daytona to start chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic in October of 2020. I graduated in December 2023, moved to Tampa for a few months, but Orlando has always been where I felt most at home. So I’ve been back in Orlando since October 2024. What drove me to start my own practice is my late dog Annabel, hence the name of the practice, Annabel’s Touch Chiropractic. In February 2024, she was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. She went through surgery and chemotherapy treatment, and was doing really well, and then in May of 2025, she was diagnosed with a completely different type of aggressive cancer. We ended up having to amputate her arm and go through chemotherapy again, and that time her body just couldn’t take it anymore… and we ended up having to put her to sleep. Throughout that time, she was happier and more optimistic than any one of us would have been during such a hard time. She was truly a lover and a fighter until the very end. She really changed my life, and I started my own chiropractic practice because of her.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think any business owner would say the exact same thing… it has not been a smooth road. It has come with a lot of struggles, both business and personal. I lost my dog this past summer, we lost another family dog, I had an aunt pass away, and my grandmother passed away… all within the span of a few months. Having all that happen at the same time I am trying to get a business off the ground was very overwhelming. It takes time, consistency, dedication, luck, and a village. I am very fortunate that I have incredible friends, the most supportive and helpful family, and a wonderful partner cheering me on.
We’ve been impressed with Annabel’s Touch Chiropractic, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the founder, owner, and head chiropractor of Annabel’s Touch Chiropractic. I am focused on delivering high-quality chiropractic care by offering concierge chiropractic care to all people (and eventually all pets), and that’s what I am most proud of. I offer 30-minute and hour-long appointments that consist of soft tissue work (muscle scraping/ IASTM/ Graston, trigger point, cupping, and KT taping), chiropractic adjustments, custom rehab for your specific issue, and some nutritional advice. I also hope to receive my dry needling certificate and purchase a cold laser in the near future. I also offer corporate on-site chiropractic care, bringing chiropractic care right into your place of work, because we’re all busy, and health and wellness shouldn’t have to be put off just because you’re hard at work. What I am most excited about is that in March, I will start an animal chiropractic program in Dallas that is part online and part in-person, which consists of learning anatomy and physiology of dogs, cats, and horses, as well as learning how to give chiropractic adjustments to said animals. For now, I will adjust the humans, but come Fall/ Winter of 2026, I will be seeing the animals too, and I am so excited. I hope after reading this, you feel like you have found a chiropractor who genuinely cares about you, your family, and your pets.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Being a good person, caring for people, and having others’ best interests at heart. Understanding that money comes and money goes, but it’s about the trust you build with others, and knowing they can count on you when they need you. My parents have been business owners for almost 25 years, and watching them succeed has taught me a lot, but most importantly, it has taught me that being a good person means something. There is no one better to work for than my mom; she is a phenomenal boss, but a better person. She truly cares about every one of her employees and everyone that comes in her path. Some people have worked for my parents from the very beginning, because she understands the importance of having good people in her life, professionally and personally.
