Exploring Life & Business with Elisha Rogers of Bougie Faith//Kingdom Girl Experiences

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elisha Rogers

Hi Elisha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story turly started as a digital marketer in 2013. I was a brand representative for a network marketing company who specialized in wellness where I learned how to tell my story, exercise my voice, and build an online presence. That was the foundational piece that would lead me to launching my own personal brand Bougie Faith where I encourage healing, self care, faith, beauty, and more and now the vision behind Kingdom Girl Experiences where I curate in person events for women of Christ to gather in fun without compromising their faith.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In life there will always be challenges and struggles that you will have to face and work to overcome. While all of our journeys will be different, the road traveled presents moments of learning, unlearning, growing, loss, failure, and more. With many lessons through heartbreak, family dysfunction, friendship breakups, sickness, and being a full time mom these all shaped my journey thus far some way or another. Through healing and faith I was able to persevere and overcome. I always say it is important to build a muscle to work to keep going even when life is pressing you to stop.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a faith based blogger, speaker, pending coach, and writer, with personal brand Bougie Faith and now the vision behind community Kingdom Girl Experiences where I host in person events for women of Christ to gather in fun without compromise to the faith. We rely on sponsorhips for our events and we are always open to connect with those that would like to be a sponsor. This community is local to the Central Florida area and open to anyone that see themselves aligned with the vision. We did have attendees travel for our first event. I love that both of my brands allow space for women to be seen and heard in a authentic way that is backed by faith. We can only go as far as what we are holding and facing inside. Through my brands I want women to be encouraged to invest in themselves so that they too can walk in the goals and visions that God has given them for their lives. I first hand know the impact of healing pairing faith and therapy together. I want others to be ok with seeking the help and resources they need to do so. Self care is a non negotiable especially in the society we live in today. I honor and preach rest and it is also a major part of my brand. I am now moving into bringing my coaching and one on one services to the forefront. I aspire to see more women of faith walk out their callings. Often times many struggle with starting, limiting beliefs, and low confidence. I hope to be that voice in the coaching sector to help those who are starting.

How do you define success?
Success to me is defined by obedience to God. As long as I am walking things out according to God’s plan and vision for my life I am successful. I do not attach success to a title, a income level, or materialistic things, but to those things I am called too and how they impact the kingdom of God. If I helped just one person for the day through encouragement, through prayer, through healing, through a social media post, through a meetup, through a event, through being a listening ear in the grocery store, I am successful.
