Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Weisent

Hi Emily, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I became an esthetician in 2019 and I loved it from the moment I started. I started out as a benefit brow waxer before covid. After covid is when I began Brazilian services with hard wax and after about a year of doing Brazilians I learned how to sugar, and it instantly became my favorite kind of hair removal! I loved how gentle it was on the skin and also very effective at removing the entire hair, which gave some of the best results I’ve ever seen. After 5 years of being an esthetician and my youngest daughter being 2 months old, I decided to start my own business Goddess Sugaring and Esthetics. I began working on perfecting my craft with brow services and continuing sugar hair removal. It has been the most fun and rewarding journey. I look forward to every day at the salon with all of my amazing clients.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As far as owning my own business completely operated by me, it has definitely had its challenges. Juggling the work load and having two daughters with one being in sports can be difficult at times, but it is completely worth it and I wouldn’t change a thing. I enjoy the journey even with the challenges it brings.

We’ve been impressed with Goddess Sugaring & Esthetics, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am an esthetician that specializes in sugar hair removal and brows. I’m very thorough with my work and I strive to make sure every service is perfect. I enjoy the time I get to spend with my clients catching up and laughing. My goal is always to create a safe space for other women. I’m very proud of what I’ve built and I’m excited to continue growing and learning

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is making sure my clients receive the best service possible. I want them to always feel comfortable in the treatment room and I want them to leave satisfied with their service.
