Hi Erin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Erin and I am a native Floridian. I’m a mom, grandma, dog mom, and a daughter of the most high king. I got started in functional medicine because of my own health issues that traditional medicine could not help me with. I have always gravitated towards a more natural approach to health and wellness, and that is what helped me to heal from my own issues. With that, I want to help others understand how their body is not just a physical being, but also a spirit and soul, and that healing all is necessary for wellness.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth road? No. Just getting started was a struggle, as the Holy Spirit was leading me away from my job of 20+ years. It was a leap of faith for sure. Struggles are constant. How to get my name and mission out there, how much to spend on advertising, am I doing the business portion of all of it correctly, did I forget to file any important paperwork, how to keep work/life balance…struggles are continuous. But the joy I get when we get to the root cause of someone’s chronic condition and they heal, is worth it all.

Erin Inspire Health and Wellness is a virtual functional medicine practice, where I help people get to the root cause of their chronic conditions utilizing specialty tests, such as gut health testing, hormones, nutrient deficiencies, and food sensitivities, along with traditional medicine labs on a deeper level. I help people optimize their health with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, peptides, medical weight loss management, and customized treatment plans based on an individual’s specific needs.
What sets me apart from others is the personalized care client’s get. I truly want to help them, and I spend a lot of time analyzing test results and planning a treatment plan that is actionable. Most people start as my client and end up as a friend.
I am most proud that my brand is noted to be a faith-based business. I am a woman of faith, and my business was started by God. I am proud to share that aspect with everyone and my goal is to represent the Lord well.
I want readers to know that even though this is a functional medicine practice and the goal is the most natural approach, I recognize the need for pharmaceuticals and certainly will incorporate those when needed. I want readers to know that my goal is to help them walk out their wellness journey and heal all aspects of their being.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I think something surprising that people who know my brand might not know about me is that this is my lived experience, which I feel makes me that much more empathetic to the journey.
