Today we’d like to introduce you to Eryka Sandridge.
Hi Eryka, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I always say that my journey into mental health wasn’t just a career choice, it was personal. I’ve experienced deep personal losses and overcome circumstances that, at one point, made life feel like survival mode every single day. However, those experiences shaped my empathy, my drive, and my purpose.
I started Therapeutic Services, LLC because I wanted to create a safe space where healing felt real, human, and accessible. As a Register Mental Health Counselor Intern, a mother, and an entrepreneur, I understand what it’s like to carry multiple roles and still try to find your own peace.
I built this business from a place of passion, accountability and a necessity. Today, I offer supportive, down-to-earth services that meet people where they are, because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road and honestly, I wouldn’t want it to be. When I officially created my business, I had $150.00 left in my bank account. That’s all I had, and I spent it on launching Therapeutic Services, LLC, because I believed in the vision more than I feared the risk.
What people don’t always see is the behind-the-scenes hustle, having to go back to school, after completing my master’s degree, so that I could meet Florida’s Mental Health licensing requirements, while working, while parenting, and staying focused even when the timeline stretched years longer than I planned.
This journey has been anything but easy, but every challenge has pushed me to grow both personally and professionally. Now as I approach full licensure by the end of this year, I’m still building, still learning, and still committed to offering the kind of private practice I would have wanted when I was the one trying to hold it all together.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Therapeutic Services, LLC?
Therapeutic Services, LLC is my private mental health practice based in Titusville, Florida, where I provide in-person and virtual therapy to adolescents and adults ages 11 to 65. I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, self-esteem issues, trauma, PTSD, grief, and other emotional challenges. My therapeutic style is honest, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care.
What makes my work different is the personal connection I bring to every session. I meet my clients where they are—offering both support and truth in a safe, culturally sensitive space. I believe that healing looks different for everyone, and therapy should reflect that.
In addition to therapy, I’ve developed therapy-friendly products to help individuals and families continue growing outside the therapy room. One of these is “The Talk” Journal, an interactive journal created for parents and their growing daughters to navigate menstrual health and education together. It’s designed to make an often-uncomfortable conversation more open, comfortable, and empowering for both sides.
I also created Communication Cards to support individuals who struggle with verbal communication. Whether it’s someone with a language barrier, a child learning word and picture association, or someone with social communication challenges, these cards help make connection easier and more accessible.
As the founder of Therapeutic Services, LLC, I bring over seven years of experience from diverse clinical settings—from juvenile centers to mental health hospitals. My journey has shaped my mission: to offer real, relatable support through therapy and tools that empower healing far beyond the therapy hour.
What does success mean to you?
I define success as impact, being able to change lives, uplift others, and leave something meaningful behind. For me, it’s not about how much money I make or how many clients I see, but about whether the people I work with are growing, healing, and learning to show up for themselves. Success is when a client finally sets a boundary, finally feels seen, or finally believes they’re worthy of more.
As a business owner, success is also about creating something that can stand on its own, something that doesn’t just serve a purpose, but has a heartbeat. That’s what I aim for with Therapeutic Services, LLC and the tools I create. If what I build helps people talk more honestly, feel more deeply, or parent more intentionally, then I’ve succeeded.
