Exploring Life & Business with Jaison Radcliff of The Paper Bar Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaison Radcliff.

Hi Jaison, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The Paper Bar Company was founded in November 2016 by Jaison Radcliff and Andrew Browne in Central Florida. What began as a simple creative outlet has grown into a globally recognized illustration brand known for its live art experiences and collaborations with some of the world’s leading luxury names.

Jaison’s talent for fashion illustration started in childhood, and together with Andrew’s creative vision, the two turned that passion into a business. The company first gained attention when Jaison’s discarded doodles were transformed into greeting cards and sold online, sparking immediate interest. From those early beginnings, The Paper Bar Co. quickly expanded, becoming known for its live sketch activations—creating custom portraits in real time at high-profile events. Today, the brand partners with global luxury houses and retailers, including Estée Lauder, Dior, Clinique, Neiman Marcus, and Dillard’s.

With a strong focus on artistry and innovation, The Paper Bar Co. has built a reputation for transforming live events into personalized, unforgettable experiences while elevating the art of illustration on a worldwide stage.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t always been easy, but the challenges have shaped the company’s identity:

Unexpected beginnings – What started as casual sketches evolved into a business almost by accident when Andrew first listed Jaison’s art online without telling him.
Scaling into a brand – Transitioning from passion projects to luxury brand collaborations required learning how to operate at a global standard while staying true to their artistry.
Maintaining excellence – As the company grew, managing demand while delivering highly personalized, high-quality work became essential to building credibility in the competitive luxury space.

These obstacles became opportunities for innovation, pushing us to refine our process, elevate our aesthetic, and consistently deliver premium experiences.
