Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarvis Ovalles.
Jarvis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I retired from my city job in 2015. My pension was just enough to cover the bills, but stuck at home with very little money to do anything else.
In January of 2016 I started my path in financial services. I wanted to learn was wasn’t taught to me in school. I wanted to take that knowledge and pass it on to people of all ages and build a practice on transparency and honesty.
I now lead my practice on one that focuses on helping people earn more income, protect their income, invest their income and become/remain debt free.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My first year was explosive in the sense that I went from an agent to broker in about a year.
My challenges was getting my multiple federal investment licenses. One which took me 4 tries to pass!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed Investment advisor and broker.
I teach people (of all ages) as well as churches and businesses how money works in layman terms.
I teach people how to protect their income with life insurance, how to invest for now, tomorrow and for retirement. I teach people how to get out of debt and remain debt free.
What sets me apart is that I base my whole practice on biblical principles. For my faith based clients this brings a huge measure of peace knowing that their decisions are bible based designed to affect their children and grandchildren.
I do free classes on How Money Works.
I also provide a complimentary Financial Needs Analysis thats customized and confidential.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The qualities and characteristics that I feel are most important to my success is my devotion to God which is reflected in my clear speech, transparency and commitment to honestly place the needs of my clients before my own. My commitment to see the financial success pass from generation to generation
