Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Gaddis.
Hi Jessica , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
So I began as a Massage Therapist 12 years ago. I have been to several Massage Therapy locations, looking for some where that I could build a steady clientele, yet something was always missing. Either I couldn’t get the freedom of my schedule the way I needed it, or Family emergencies got in the way, or Clientele simply wasn’t steady enough. I was always told what to do, and when to do it and most owners were not Massage Therapist. After 4 years, the last Spa owners I worked for broke up, leaving me once again in limbo financially and job wise. So I put away my fear of falling, and decided that it was finally time to take a chance on myself. I now am a proud small business owner who would love to get my name out there and serve my Community through healing and educating others on how to take control of their bodies.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I had major challenges in Massage School. I was targeted by another student, and harassed to the point that I had to get Administration involved (she tried to even put Black magic on me). Super weird, but it taught me my own power in the process. I worked for a Spa and the Owner ended up being a sexual deviant, and was sexually harassed other Therapists. I thankfully left before it reached me. And countless other instances. I think every Massage Therapist can attest to having very strange experiences throughout their careers. Working with energy opens the doors to a part of reality people don’t want to admit exist. But through every challenge I have faced, it has taught me to never give up and has given me a huge amount of pride and confidence in myself that I can pass on to my clients.

So along with being a Massage Therapist, I am also a Certified Naturopathic Wellness Counselor. I specialize in using Naturopathic supplementation along with specific Massage techniques, to help clients achieve their overall health goals. I educate my clients on how making healthier lifestyle choices can improve their wellbeing, as well as their overall health and muscle performance. Our bodies tell us what they need, I give you the roadmap to be able to listen and understand how to improve.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Within the next 10 years, I want to transform my business from a small, 1 person company, to an entire Wellness ecosystem that is not being represented in Orlando. My dream is to have an entire Wellness center dedicated to educating people on how to better their lives and take control of their health.
