Brief About My Story – Julia Estévez Losada
I’m a civil engineer, entrepreneur, certified coach, and immigrant who turned personal challenges into real opportunities for growth. Born in Venezuela, I moved to the United States in search of a better future for my family, guided by a clear vision, resilience, and the deep belief that reinvention is always possible.
With over 19 years of experience leading large-scale construction projects, I currently serve as Director of Asset Management at one of the leading real estate companies in the U.S., where I manage a construction portfolio of over $50 million.
I am also the co-founder of AE Point LLC, a development and construction firm based in Florida. Alongside my husband, I lead high-impact projects that prioritize efficiency, quality, and innovation to help our clients build a real estate portfolio.
Beyond my professional life, I’m a proud mother of two boys, ages 14 and 9, who are my greatest inspiration and daily motivation. Motherhood has taught me how to balance ambition with purpose, and to lead a life aligned with what truly matters.
My academic background includes studies in Venezuela, Spain, Japan, and the United States. I hold multiple certifications, including a master’s degree in civil engineering, public notary, results coaching, management, and the globally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. I’m a firm believer in lifelong learning and continuous personal development, which have been the foundation of every stage of my journey.
Through Julia Estévez LLC, I coach and support individuals who are ready to break through their mental limits, embrace a growth mindset, and intentionally design a life on their own terms.
My story is one of transformation—from burnout and disconnection to balance, clarity, and purpose. Because success isn’t about luck—it’s a decision. And when you choose growth, everything starts to align.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all—it’s been a road full of challenges, sacrifices, and powerful lessons. One of the most challenging aspects of my journey was building a new life in a different country with my family—my parents and brothers—far away, with no support system to rely on. As a working mother, I had no extra hands to help with my kids, and I had to find the strength to show up fully at home and at work, even when I was completely exhausted.
As I started to climb the corporate ladder, I also experienced racial discrimination, and my accent as a non-native English speaker became one of my greatest challenges. I often felt underestimated or judged before I even had the chance to contribute. But over time, I learned not only to manage those insecurities but to transform them into a source of strength. I embraced my voice and allowed my work, dedication, and results to speak for themselves.
All of these experiences—though difficult—shaped me. They built my resilience, deepened my empathy, and pushed me to adopt a growth mindset that changed every area of my life.
Now, I feel a deep calling to motivate others through my story. I want people to know that everything you dream of is possible, no matter where you start, if you’re willing to shift your mindset, take intentional action, and refuse to let fear make your decisions.
The road hasn’t been easy, but it has absolutely been worth it—and that’s what I want others to believe is possible for them too.

And I’m incredibly excited to be releasing my first book, titled “Matanga: El arte de vencer el miedo y transformar tu vida” – English: Mataga: the art of overcome fear and transform your life (coming soon, in English). Available on Amazon. The book explores how to embrace your fears and adopt a growth mindset to turn challenges into opportunities and live a life of intention and purpose.

Yes—if there’s one thing I truly believe, it’s this: if God plants a dream in your heart or mind, it’s because it’s possible. That dream is not random—it’s a calling. It may require effort, courage, and resilience, but it is absolutely doable.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. I’ve learned that the first step is often the hardest—but also the most powerful. Fear will show up, but it doesn’t have to lead your life. With the right mindset, aligned action, and faith, transformation becomes inevitable.
