Exploring Life & Business with Keith James of The Midnight Collective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keith “Koastal” James.

Hi Koastal, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started writing music when I was in 6th grade and fell in love with it. When I was 18, I stopped music and focused on politics for about  8 years. During that time, I wrote a book “From Dope To The White House” – ran for State Representative in Delaware, and worked for different celebrities. I also have done work with our POTUS.

January, I came to Orlando to visit my brother for a month and that’s when I met Anastasia Felicity. We fell in love; started our business The Midnight Collective (TMC Orlando) and we have been taking over ever since. It’s amazing being able to build with my Bestfriend and partner everyday, I’m grateful.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been the smoothest road, however, that’s comes with being a business owner. The hardest part for me was watching friends who I wanted to help out, switch up. Outside of that we have been blessed to have the ability to scale our business as much as we have in such a short time frame. From our mobile app, to exclusive partnerships, we have been working.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
TMC Orlando was founded to connect creatives to resources that will help enhance their creative experience. We offer memberships to our clients which comes with 3 free mixes and masters per year, 2 free cover arts, 6 free entries’ to TMC Events, and reduced rates on tracking, mixing, masters and marketing.

In addition to all of the benefits listed above, creatives also have the opportunity to download our TMC App and stay connected with creatives up and down the east coast.

What sets us apart from everyone else is that we are the hardest working team in Orlando. No one will outwork TMC. Since January, we have made it clear to artists, businesses, and the creative community, TMC is here to stay.
