Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristine Iverson.
Hi Kristine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a wellness advocate, activist, yogi and business owner. I have a passion for sharing healing and normalizing conversations regarding mental health.
I provide business consulting services, keynote speeches, facilitated mindfulness and stress management sessions. I am the owner of CROW Practice, LLC (an acronym for ‘coordinated response on wellness’), a national hub of wellness providers who bring both live and virtual sessions to events all over the country. My team and I offer over 100 different wellness services to the live events industry.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Staying with my drive and commitment to CROW has not been a smooth ride. I am passion-based and initially did not have the tools to create a sustainable business. I had to shift my perspective and understanding several times, if we were going to reach thousands of individuals with healing services. The countless challenges and obstacles faced are too many to count. I simply come back to my commitment to serve something greater than myself. CROW has been that for me. My gift is that it has given me purpose, greater than my own survival.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Crow Practice?
CROW Practice is the only company in the Southeast structured as a wellness hub for the live events industry. Our meeting planners and Destination Management Companies make one phone or send one email and receive numerous well-vetted holistic professionals. They trust us and our providers. All of our wellness experts know their craft and have a certain level of professionalism on-site.
I do have a book coming out in the fall, Calm in the Chaos – pre sales start in September. Can be purchased on my site: www.kristineiverson.com
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Yes. What is it that you are creating or wanting to build that is larger than you? What is worth it to you to sacrifice for? Do you know yourself well enough to know what you love doing so much that you would do for free? I wish I would have started from a clear end goal and worked backward with targets prior to jumping in.
