Yet, despite the accolades, I initially hesitated to venture into custom cakes. My husband’s unwavering belief in her talent and the persistent requests from clients finally nudged me to take the leap. No, it hasn’t been a smooth road at all; there have been many challenges along the way, including navigating periods of financial uncertainty, overcoming self-doubt, facing intense competition in the market, and adapting to rapid baking techniques changes, which sometimes required significant investments in new equipment and training.
