Exploring Life & Business with Martin Cordido of Handymartin LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Martin Cordido

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Since I was very young I enjoyed creating things with my hands, building, assembling, putting together always came easy to me, at first tools were a hobby but they became part of my life, I started repairing things and doing small personal carpentry and welding projects for my businesses, in 2018 I formally started working as a handyman but carpentry and interior projects were taking up all my time, today I mainly do interior design work, fireplaces, accent walls, faux beams, wainscoting, built outs, paneling, wood or shiplap ceilings among others, I am in the process of adding summer kitchens to my portfolio.
my plan is to expand and make my company more technical to provide the best possible service to the people of central Florida and all of the United States.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My clients have made my path easier by referring me to other clients. I am fortunate to work for nice homeowners most of the time. The hard part of growing my company is getting efficient, responsible, and knowledgeable employees to do great jobs and take care of the details.
Another big challenge is handling the large amount of requests with a small team.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
HANDYMARTIN LLC is a small business created in 2019, dedicated mainly to creating decorative and functional projects for interiors. Carpentry is the strength of my projects. The aspect that sets me apart from other companies is craftsmanship using real wood, although I also use materials such as PVC and MDF panels. I offer meticulously detailed, solid and durable work, taking care of details, safety and the property itself.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My greatest support is God, my wife, my daughters and my entire family and their constant positive advice. I have a long list of clients to thank for their support, for referring me and having patience when my work schedule is delayed!! to each of my 44K followers on social media, to all who are or have been part of my team, to my mother who taught me how to walk through life doing things right.
