Exploring Life & Business with Nadia Trimble of Nadia Trimble Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Trimble

Hi Nadia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Growing up, my mom was a makeup artist so I was often in the salon with her. I watched her make people feel their best and always had a passion for the industry. As I got older, I realized I found myself extremely interested in skincare. In 2019 I went to esthetics school. While I was in school I realized that I really loved the medical side of things. I didn’t have a draw towards micro blading or lash extensions (or things like that). But when I realized I could really make a difference in someone’s life, making their skin better with chemical peels or microneedling- something they don’t feel like they need to hide or cover up, I knew this was the direction I wanted to go in my career. As I graduated and got my skin specialist license, the first cases of COVID started popping up here in Florida. Of course I was extremely disappointed thinking I wasn’t going to get a job for who knows how long. But just two months after graduating I was fortunate enough to get hired as the esthetician for two doctors at a dermatology office. I gained invaluable knowledge during my time there. I worked mainly with patients who had acne or hyperpigmentation, those shortly became my two favorite types of skin to work with. Seeing someone actually have tears in their eyes when we cleared their acne and scars was unbelievably gratifying. After spending a couple years at the dermatologist office, I moved to a plastic surgeon/nurse practitioner medical spa. There too I had amazing clients and was able to help people achieve their skin goals/desires. After a year and a half there, I heard about a building of studios for business owners that was being built in the area. Since I had been in esthetics school many dream was to open my own medical spa. I felt this was my chance to take a step in that direction, so March of 2023 I opened up Nadia Trimble Aesthetics (my studio). I was and am incredibly proud of my business. I recently had the experience of being named one of the top 2 aestheticians of my county. I am beyond grateful for each and everyone of my clients who have let me live my dream. March of this year will make 5 years of doing what I love. I can’t wait to see what the future brings and I have some very exciting things in store for 2025.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
COVID was a large struggle, it took a little time to find a job and then once I did I really didn’t have many clients at first. When i left the med spa to open my business, I was just waiting on some finishing touches for the building to open up when hurricane Ian hit. As most people know, Ian hit charlotte county very hard. So of course there were some set backs with the building opening. Thankfully since then it has been a smooth road!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Nadia Trimble Aesthetics?
My business has been open almost two years (will be two years in march). I do various types of facials, such as hydra facials, acne facials, dermaplane facials and more. I also do LED therapy, chemical peels and microchanneling. Microchanneling is really what I’m known for since it makes such a big difference in the skin, and not many people offer it. It is the “new and improved” version of microneedling (it is the same concept but a lot safer and more gentle on the skin).
What sets me apart from others is how much I genuinely care about my clients. I am here to help them so I’m honest about what is and is not going to work for them. I also don’t believe in selling product you don’t wholeheartedly believe in. I talk through the process and why this product or procedure will work for that specific client and we come up with a treatment plan.
I am most proud of how far my business has come, winning top two esthetician in just a year of being open is unbelievable to me.
I want people to know how much I love helping people achieve their skincare goals and how facials really work wonders!

Any big plans?
