Exploring Life & Business with Oriana Guevára and Daniel Tribby

Today we’d like to introduce you to Oriana Guevára and Daniel Tribby.

Oriana and Daniel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We are Oriana and Daniel. As experts, authors, and coaches in our respective fields we have over 20 years of coaching, consulting business, and entrepreneurship experience combined.

We originally met at a charity event in Orlando in 2018. At that time we were both involved in our own separate business endeavors. Oriana was a Human Resources professional at a local private college. Daniel was (and still is) the owner of medical practice in Lake Nona. Little did we know at the time we would end up becoming good friends with like-minded aspirations to help others grow in their professional and personal lives.

In 2020, after realizing we were each writing a book, we reconnected over our shared interests and aspirations in coaching and consulting. At that time we recognized we were each working full time in our respective coaching practices. Oriana in the executive and relationship coaching space and Daniel with healthcare entrepreneurs. Oriana was also hosting a live event every month in Downtown Orlando called “Thrive Thursday,” which Daniel joined as a co-host.

Together we built Thrive Thursday into a curated community of local entrepreneurs, business owners, and career professionals who came together monthly to engage in meaningful networking and learning. Today, that community still exists virtually on Facebook that includes nearly 400 members. You can join the group by going to edgyentrepeneurs.com.

Recognizing deep alignment in our values, 2021 presented us with the opportunity to join forces on a podcast that helps business owners/entrepreneurs move past mindset and relationship limitations. In season 1 of our podcast, The Edgy Entrepreneur, we focused on the premise that mindset is 80% of business success and only 20% action. Topics from season 1 include:

– forming stronger habits
– money mindset
– finding motivation
– confidence building
– authenticity in your brand
– work/life balance myths

We launched our second season in 2022 with a primary focus on provocative conversations about relationship dynamics that are specific to entrepreneurs and executives. In order to become an influential leader, you must become a master of creating high-value relationships in your business, community, and personal life.

We are dedicated to helping others create stronger relationships, an unshakeable mindset, and high-performance habits, so they can build a thriving life and business. The Edgy Entrepreneur Podcast is available for streaming on every major podcast platform or watch on YouTube.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Creating a podcast in and of itself takes a fair amount of planning and preparation which at times can be stressful, but the biggest challenge is getting known for what you do.

The development process, like in any business, is time-consuming, but at the end of the day, the push to get known takes even more diligence and drive. We have worked well together sharing responsibilities and constantly working on our alignment and values to stay in touch with each other and our goals.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Edgy Entrepreneur. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Edgy Entrepreneur is not only a podcast, it’s a mindset and a community. Feeling dulled out? Get your edge back when you get around the right people and the right conversations. That’s where we come in. The right people will leave you sharper than they found you!

We host provocative conversations about relationship dynamics that are specific to entrepreneurs and executives. We build high-value communities that support your mindset, relationships, and business growth! We offer accelerated growth opportunities through:

– Custom sponsorships for live events and the podcast.
– Executive coaching & leadership development.
– Podcasting & public speaking.
– Curated community building & exclusive live events.
– Media & published content.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
We firmly believe that everyone should invest in themselves by working with a mentor or a coach. This particular mentor or coach should have accomplished the ideal life or business outcomes you desire.

We have dedicated our careers to coaching others to support their success and we have each heavily invested in being coached by some of the best coaches in the business. There is power in coaching and mentorship. If you have never had a mentor a great place to start is within a community of like-minded individuals whose values are aligned with the direction in which you would like to take your life and/or business.

You can then network within that community and ask certain individuals who can whole-heartedly support your goals and are willing to share their experiences working towards the same outcomes to mentor you.
