Hi Sarah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
3 years ago, after a family tragedy, I left behind my hometown, my family, & 9 years of a successful Real Estate Career. It was time to start fresh. So we packed the kids’ belongings and set off for Space Coast, Florida. After moving to Florida from Tennessee, I noticed a need for more southern hospitality in business. After a year of staying home with our 3rd daughter, I knew it was time to get back to my true passion: helping other entrepreneurs on their journey. As I contemplated how I could bring the most value to my Space Coast Community, I opened what is now my favorite book, “Go-Giver.” I immediately knew what I needed to do. That’s where Space Coast Content Studio began.
Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Haha! It has been challenging! But it has been an absolute labor of love and a total blast! Testing the waters with a new type of business, managing the admin work, finding the perfect building, and then renovating that building to create the atmosphere that we now have today, all while holding to the original vision, has been a rollercoaster of creativity, joy & anticipation, mixed with the all-too-familiar self-doubt and fear, that every entrepreneur can relate to.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The core of our company is Collab. Connect. Create. We are a full-service social media content studio specializing in the highest quality Podcast production, YouTube Video production, and reels to grow your Brand through Video and audio. We also offer branding photos, headshots, and product photography for any business owner or individual who wants to extend their reach and create high-quality social media content using our studio. We have packages from DIY to PRO because we believe in the importance of meeting people where they are, with the needs & resources that they have. Space Coast Content Studio is all about being a safe space and supportive community for content creators and business owners to come together, collaborate, and grow. We have even gone so far as to provide a kid’s room at our studio for those parents who can’t find daycare but want to keep their business going. It’s a concept that is growing in popularity. Incubator & Coworking Space meets Videography & Digital Marketing. We’ve got something for everyone.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory would be going on a 20,000-mile RV trip with my parents to 35 states and 4 provinces in Canada. I had the opportunity to see more of the world by age 6 than some see in a lifetime. I played with prairie dogs, escaped an angry elk on my pink Barbie bike, listened to buffalo calls, and hugged the redwood trees. Always end the night with a campfire. This was also the journey where my father was given the clarity to start his company. So it was a very pivotal time for each of us.
