Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Steiner.
Hi Sarah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into photography started long before I ever held a professional camera. I’ve always had a deep love for art and preserving memories. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, I was a public school teacher for a few years, but I found myself consistenly being pulled by my creative heart. I was craving a career in art. In 2022, I finally invested in professional equipment and started photographing family and friends to build my portfolio. In January of 2023, I officially registered my business!
At first, I photographed anything and everything, but I quickly realized how much I enjoyed capturing love stories above all else. There’s something so special about documenting real, raw emotions and celebrating the connection of people. I knew that I wanted to focus my business on couples and their incredibly special wedding days. Now, I feel so grateful to be doing what I love, preserving once-in-a-lifetime moments for amazing people.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall, my photography journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I’ve been lucky to have a mostly smooth road thanks to the amazing support of my family and friends. From the very beginning, they believed in me, trusted me to capture their memories, and encouraged me to keep going.
That being said, like any creative business, there have been challenges, especially with learning the ins and outs of running a business and refining my photography style. But I’ve never had to do it alone. The photography community has been unbelievably generous, and I’m forever grateful for the fellow photographers who have shared their knowledge, advice, and encouragement. Their support has made all the difference, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
We’ve been impressed with Sarah Steiner Photography, LLC., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My photography business is built on the belief that every love story deserves to be celebrated. I am an inclusive photographer, wholeheartedly believing in love in all its forms. Every person deserves kindness, respect, and appreciation, and my goal is to create a space where my clients feel safe, seen, and truly comfortable being themselves.
I specialize in capturing engagements, proposals, anniversaries, elopements, and weddings. I strive to document love stories in a way that feels genuine, emotional, and timeless. What sets me apart is not just the photos I deliver, but the experience I provide. I strive to create a connection with my clients, making them feel at ease in front of the camera so their personalities and love can shine through authentically.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of the warmth and trust I bring to every session. Photography is so much more than just the images being captured. It’s about preserving emotions, the in-between moments, and the depth of relationships. My goal is to tell your story honestly, so when you look back at your photos, you don’t just see a beautiful image. You also feel the true love, joy, and magic of that moment all over again.
What does success mean to you?
To me, success is about sharing love and happiness with others. When you’re surrounded by people who support you, who believe in you, and who you can trust wholeheartedly, that’s when you know you’ve truly made it. Success isn’t just about what you achieve; it’s about the love, kindness, and connection you create in the process.
