Hi Sheena, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Thank you so much for sharing my story! My story has been incredible, challenging and beautiful and I’m so thankful to be able to share it with others, who may find some inspiration in it. My family and I moved from India to the United States in my teens. After highschool, I attended Palm Beach Atlantic University then Nova Southeastern University, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master’s in Medical Science. For the past 17 years, I have been working as a PA in various fields including Dermatology, Pharmaceutical Industry, Academics, and Aesthetics.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting my own medspa from scratch has been an incredible but challenging experience. I’ve had to learn to use my resources wisely, choose vendors and partners who can support and help my business, and learn to market to local communities. Learning to wear so many hats at once – marketing, hiring, training, and more – can be difficult but also so rewarding, as I get to see the results of hard work come to fruition.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I had worked at other medspas for about 10 years before I set out to open my own. Seeing various models of running medspas inspired me to create a business that incoporated the best of all that I had experienced. I pride myself in creating a concierge experience for my clients by combining artistry with science to make them look their very best. I do not like my clients to feel like they are just another face in a large practice. Over the past 10 years of working in the Aesthetics industry, I have gained advanced training in dermal fillers, neuromodulators, Kybella, PRP, skincare, lasers, IPL, tattoo removal, chemical peels, and various other aesthetic procedures. At the beginning of this year, I was finally able to launch Radiance Medspa and Wellness, with my medical director Dr. Souheil Moussly.
We are a medical spa that offers neuromodulators (Botox, Jeaveau, Xeomin), Dermal Fillers (Juvederm, Radiesse, Belotero), Chemical Peels (Skin Medica and Vi Peel), Plasma Pen Treatment, Microneedling, Kybella, Medical Weight Loss and B12 and MIC injections. We specialize in lip injections, cheek enhancements, sculpting and volumizing, filling fines lines, correcting facial asymmetry along with delivering flawless, beautiful skin.
At Radiance Medspa and Wellness, we pride ourselves on taking the time to get to know our clients so we can address their individual needs. We want what our clients want – to look natural and youthful. That process does not have to happen overnight. We take our time with our clients and come up with a plan to achieve what they desire.
