Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherolyn Thompson-Clarke.
Sherolyn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started on this journey back in 2013 and I failed miserably because I did not have the support and belief in myself. I lost so much money because I did not know what to do. After six years, I decided to try again because now I believe that there was always a calling on my life to be a difference and make a difference in this world. I am where I am today because of God’s grace and with the help and guidance of my business coach Shanieka Kerr. I honestly would have given up many times because I do not look normal and I am unable to smile but God reminds me every day of my purpose and my support system pushes me every day to continue this journey. Today I have customers across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean who are experiencing hair growth, feeling self-worth again, and loving my hair growth products and I am truly grateful.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been easy. I have had sleepless nights and days where I just have to start away from the computer because of my condition. I am a mother of two and I also work a 9-5 job so ensuring that my business is running efficiently and effectively, I am up till the wee hours of the night.

Lyn’s Natural Comforts Organics specializes in 100% natural haircare products that cater to women, men, and children. All our products are handmade in my kitchen with wholesome ingredients that are free of harmful chemicals, artificial colors, additives, or fragrances. Even the preservatives we use in our products are naturally derived. Our products are safe to use on children. I am proud that my brand has crossed the United States and is being shipped to other countries.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I have learned during this season not to have all your eggs in one basket. Keep other options open because a season brings a shift in the tide.
