Today we’d like to introduce you to Sylvette Escobar.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a stay at home mom who decided I wanted to start a business. When the pandemic hit, I knew I needed to really push my business because my husband is handicapped. It was a risk for him to be out there. So I knew I needed to help provide.

Just like everyone else I downloaded TikTok. The best decision I made for my business! I started sharing tips on how to start a small business. To my surprise, after posting for a bit. a video went viral!! I was so excited. And from that moment on. I created such a beautiful family on TikTok. And have made many sales thanks to their support.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
At the beginning it was amazing. Everyone was at home doing online shopping. But once life started getting “back to normal” sales started slowing down. Running a small business is definitely a roller coaster. Some days are great and some days are hard.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Blossomingroseandco?
I started off selling just handmade earrings. But because of the power of social media, I now sell handmade earrings, handmade macrame rainbows, rainbow kits & have a beautiful family on TikTok and Instagram! I am such a creative person and selling just one thing isn’t my thing. I just love to make things and share them with the world! I’m definitely known for my rose stud earrings though.

I try to focus my stuff to be affordable. A big part of my audience on TikTok are stay at home moms. And I want them to be able to feel special too.
I am most proud of how I have stayed true to creating what I love and spreading my faith and love.

I want people to know that starting a small business is easy it’s the in between that gets hard. When you have to keep pushing even on days where sales aren’t up. Just like life, your business will be a roller coaster ride. Just jump on and enjoy the ride.

I want them to know that my brand represents growing. Growing is such a big part of life. That is why my brand is called blossomingroseandco. Because we are always growing into beautiful roses. Always learning and creating new things.

If you wanted to start a business, just start slow. You don’t always have to go all in. Just stay true to yourself and what you believe in. Oh and don’t underestimate the power of social media marketing!
