Exploring Life & Business with Tyler Bream of Apex Innovations Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Bream

Hi Tyler , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Started my first business when I was 16, tried about 8 different businesses before one took off.

Worked in sales while in school at UCF.

Worked at Lukas Nursery in Oviedo for 2 yrs.

Started off in labor loading cars and then learned enough while I was there to get certified in horticulture and transition to sales.

Started this company on the side and worked on my days off and after work.

As things picked up I dropped days one at a time until I was working the biz M-F and working at Lukas on the weekends

Eventually hit the point where I was losing money showing up to work because I had to pass up on weekend jobs.

Went full time and quit Lukas 8 months after starting the business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We offered free shoots a lot in the beginning so revenue went up slowly but then shot up as past clients came back.

I remember September of 23 I had worked pretty much 80 hr weeks between Lukas and the business and lost money since I was mostly shooting for free and still had to cover my GOGS.

Hired coaches early on but still had road bumps. They were a big factor in the “quick” success though.

Before I hired help I remember shooting 27 houses in a week by myself and was working until about 11pm everyday and then waking up around 8 and doing it all again for weeks straight.

Had some tough/ unreasonable clients early on that were challenging but forced me to temper my emotions and remain professional.

I also had a rock crack my windshield and then someone hit my car and left while i was shooting a house within about 2 days of eachother.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We service the greater orlando area as well as many surrounding areas.

We offer high quality photos, videos, drone, 3D tours and more.

We’re some of the only photographers who are willing to show up and help prep a property. Many photographers show up and shoot a house as it is. We believe that a properly prepared house makes a HUGE difference in how the product comes out and increase the odds that someone will want to take a look at the property.

Our customer service. We like to think of ourselves as a service company, not a photography company. We value customer relationships and try our best to deliver a top of the line experience on every shoot!

Pricing:

  • We price by sqft and have several different packages for each teir. Packages start as low as $165 and go as high as $2k
