Today we’d like to introduce you to Addy Hudson
Hi Addy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started off my social media journey working as a social media manager for several music festivals in Orlando and then I made my way over to become the full-time social media manager for Orlando weekly last year. After our trip to Japan, my boyfriend finally convinced me to start my own business and to become my own boss. As of January 2024 I created ghosted socials LLC my own social media and content creation company within one month. I already had four clients and within three months I was getting so many clients and gigs that my schedule was completely packed. Being nine months into my business, I am now for the first time looking to hire someone to help me. It’s crazy to see how much my business has grown in less than a year and where it can go from here!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say that I went through most of the Rocky roads before I started my business. I learned a lot while managing a bunch of different social media accounts, including that of Orlando weekly, which introduced me to so many different types of clients. I had been through so many different jobs in the span of 3 years, all leading me here.

Ghosted Socials is my company I created as of this January. It is a social media management and content creation company. I do everything from manage social accounts for multiple businesses across Orlando, to creating UGC, organic and professional content (with the help of my partners), To outsourcing and hiring influencers, media, models and PR for brands and events.

Most people don’t realize that before social media I actually thought I wanted to do event management for a living and that’s what I did for multiple music festivals across the Florida area for the first two years after graduating college. That was my dream, until I came to realize that a new dream had appeared.
