Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia Flores and Chelsea Dwyer
Hi Alicia and Chelsea, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Go INK It LLC is a sister-owned screen printing and embroidery business built on family, passion, and hard work. Our journey began over 16 years ago when my sister started working alongside our dad in the screen printing industry in Lakeland, Florida, where they owned a company called Tim’s T-Shirts.
In 2016, my husband and I built our home, and soon after, my sister decided to build a house right next door. When she moved, she took the business with her and asked if we wanted to join her in running it. At the time, my husband and I thought it would be a great way to earn a little extra spending money—so Go INK It LLC was born.
Over the past eight years, we have grown steadily, to the point where I was able to leave my job as a flight attendant and dedicate myself to Go INK It full-time. This has allowed me to spend more time with my two daughters, Kinsley and Rylee. My sister has always worked full-time in the business, and together, we are proud to be women entrepreneurs in an industry where female-owned and operated screen printing businesses are rare.
We do all of our printing in-house and have expanded our services to include embroidery, sublimation printing, and direct-to-film printing. We proudly serve businesses, schools, corporations, churches, and more. Our husbands also play a role in the business, helping out as needed, though they both currently work full-time elsewhere.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We’ve faced our fair share of challenges in an ever-evolving industry, especially when it came to finding customers in the beginning. When we first started, we had no clear roadmap for gaining business, so my sister and I took a grassroots approach—going door to door, introducing ourselves, and meeting local business owners.
One encounter will always stay with us. One of the first businesses we visited bluntly told us we would never make it in Oviedo. They said the town already had an established screen printer and that we didn’t stand a chance. It was disheartening, but instead of giving up, we pushed forward the only way we knew how—by delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Through word-of-mouth and a commitment to excellence, we slowly but steadily built our reputation, and we haven’t stopped growing since.
