Hi Amanda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey to Dare To Be Iconic started from one of the hardest moments of my life. My boyfriend of three and a half years ended our relationship by leaving a letter and a box at my front door—and I never heard from or saw him again. That experience was devastating. It shattered my sense of self and left me questioning everything. But in the midst of that heartbreak, I realized I had a choice: I could let this define me, or I could choose myself. That moment of self-discovery inspired me to create Dare To Be Iconic—a self-help platform for icons daring to be themselves. What began as a blog quickly grew into a podcast, a self-guided healing journal, a masterclass series, live events, and a thriving online community where I empower young women to embrace who they are with truth confidence. Along the way, I also leaned into my identity as a professional fangirl, particularly in the F1 space, where I challenge stereotypes and show that being a fangirl is powerful. Whether it’s through motorsports or self-love initiatives my mission is simple: to empower you to embrace your iconic self unapologetically. It’s been a journey of growth, healing, and stepping outside of my comfort zone, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that sometimes, the hardest moments in life are what lead us to our most iconic selves.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When you’re chasing a dream that doesn’t fit into a traditional box, people will question you. They’ll doubt you, misunderstand you, and sometimes even tell you outright that what you’re doing isn’t possible. I’ve had people dismiss Dare To Be Iconic, saying they “simply couldn’t see it working out” because my idea didn’t make sense to them. But here’s what I’ve learned: when everyone tells you no, you have to tell yourself yes. People won’t always understand your vision, but they don’t have to. It’s not their dream to see—it’s yours to build. Every step of this journey has reinforced that I don’t need permission to create something meaningful. I just need the belief in myself to keep going. And so, I keep saying yes—to myself, to my vision, and to the icons who are daring to be themselves every single day.

Dare To Be Iconic is the self-help platform for icons daring to be themselves. I empower young women to break barriers, unleash their potential, and embrace their iconic selves. Through my work, I help individuals transform their most iconic lives by building confidence, healing from past wounds, and stepping into their full potential. What sets Dare To Be Iconic apart is my personal approach and commitment to empowering others through my own journey of self-discovery and healing. I don’t just preach what I’ve learned—I’ve lived it, and I’m sharing every step of that process with my community. Whether it’s challenging stereotypes in the F1 space as a professional fangirl or creating a safe space for personal growth and confidence, Dare To Be Iconic is about more than just motivation; it’s about action, growth, and real change. What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built—my Radiant Icons. These are young women from all over the world who show up every day, daring to be themselves and supporting others in doing the same. This community is what drives me, and I’m constantly inspired by the stories and journeys they share.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The most important qualities to my success are resilience, vulnerability, and authenticity. I’m living out what Dare To Be Iconic is all about, which is daring to be myself, even when it’s challenging. Resilience has allowed me to keep going despite setbacks, vulnerability has enabled me to connect with others on a deeper level, and authenticity has been the foundation of everything I do. By staying true to myself and embracing the process of growth, I can inspire others to do the same. These qualities have been crucial in building my business and staying aligned with my mission to empower others unapologetically.
