Hidden Gems: Meet Andre Neal of Andre Dwaine & Co

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andre Neal.

Hi Andre, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
It all started when I was an instructor at a local college. I began to notice that many graduates were becoming frustrated with their career search. As I spent time coaching with them, I realized there was a gap so thus I created my first program called The Bridge. This program focused on personal branding, image consulting, and career readiness skills. All of which many of the students were in need of in order to “land the job of their dreams” after graduating.

To date, that which was more of a hobby in an effort to assist students became the very thing I am currently so very passionate about.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This journey had its ups and downs. While I enjoyed spending time career mapping, setting SMART goals, and walking students through brand discovery, it required more time than I was able to give at times. I did not find pleasure in having to reschedule or shorten the time that I knew students needed during specific sessions.

We’ve been impressed with Andre Dwaine &Co, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Andre Dwaine & Co (AD&C) is a brand image consulting company. We aid clients in defining clarity of vision and creating a solid brand image that attracts their ideal clients. Through a series of coaching and consulting sessions, we curate the best-fit image consisting of logo design, color psychology, and total brand positioning. Some additional areas of focus are identifying your target audience, utilizing proper marketing strategies, and conveying your message to the masses.

AD&C is a company that operates with excellence, world-class service and is sure to provide an experience that will walk you through transforming your brand from good to great.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the most important lessons I have learned on this journey is that every client is not “my” client. Just as there are McDonald’s and Burger King, every client has a collection of preferences that they are looking for. Sometimes you are the best fit as a service provider and sometimes you are not. I have learned it is ok. It does not mean you are incompetent in your delivery; it just means they are not your potential client.
