Hidden Gems: Meet Angel Torres of Royale KDN

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Torres.

Hi Angel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Our story started off as two friends beginning a photography business together. At first, it was a fun idea to make a little extra money on the side, it started off at my first little apartment in Altamonte Springs, FL. We were just trying things out and didn’t really know what to expect. My friend and business partner, Eric, was the one who brought most of the photography and videography knowledge into the business. We got ideas from a few friends, including tips on how to use photoshop and what kind of backgrounds to purchase for our professional studio-look shoots. I purchased all of the equipment I would need online, professional camera, lenses, backpack, backdrops, stands, professional strobe lighting, umbrella, etc…. Everything we needed to get started. From there, business took off! We invited a few friends we knew over for free shoots, and before we knew it our first booking was made. Without much effort in marketing or advertising ourselves, we have been able to expand our business, get bookings on the weekly basis mainly using just Instagram and word of mouth references! To this day, we have expanded to my new studio apartment in Downtown Orlando, our business has been featured on Groupon, and we are excited to work with new clients in the Wedding and Music Industry!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
For the most part, I have to be honest and say yes, we haven’t really been struggling at all as far as our photography business is concerned. We have had a few unsatisfied clients, but that will happen with any business. Our professionalism, customer service skills, and awesome work is what continues to drive some of our clients to return multiple times and keeps bringing new clients in! We could truly grow this into a much larger business with some continued hard work and dedication.

We’ve been impressed with Royale KDN, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are proud to be the most affordable location for professional and top-of-the-line studio photography, video, and outdoor photography! We specialize in studio shoots, weddings, music videos, outdoor photoshoots, and pretty much any other kind of special moment that needs to be captured. We have worked with various clients for weddings, businesses, artists, graduates, maternity clients, newborn and family photoshoots… If a camera is involved, we can do it! What truly sets us apart from others is that we care. We want every client to be satisfied so they can have a positive experience, show off our work, and tell everyone they know of what a great time they had! That is why we are on top of our professionalism & quality, and we deliver on every single shoot we do!
