Hi Autumn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from a family that loves to celebrate, and planning has always been second nature to me. In high school, I set a school record for a fundraiser that I planned and hosted, and in college, I worked at Williams Sonoma where I particularly loved to bring hosting events to life and help couples build their wedding registries.
While enrolled in my MBA- Marketing program in 2022, I started creating content online. I experimented with a lot of topics, but every time I shared wedding savings advice, the response was overwhelming—people wanted more. That’s when Wedding Planning HQ was born.
I coined the name “Wedding Planning Saver” and have since helped thousands of couples successfully plan their weddings without blowing their budget. I love making dream weddings possible for less and feel honored that so many couples trust me with their big day!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to owning my own successful wedding business has been one open door after another, and I truly believe that God has set this clear path for me. But this journey hasn’t been easy. When I started Wedding Planning HQ, I was working full-time as a Brand Manager, pursuing my MBA, and soon after, I became pregnant with my daughter. Busy was an understatement during this period of my life. If I wasn’t working, I was studying, and if I wasn’t studying, I was building WPHQ.
My wonderful husband’s support made it all possible. Many nights, while I was juggling these responsibilities, he was cleaning and cooking after coming home from work. His support gave me the ability to keep pushing forward, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

What makes you happy?
Being around people makes me happy. I’m not someone who needs to recharge after socializing—I recharge by socializing. That’s why I love weddings and hosting so much!
