Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Miles.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I joined the National Guard in 2010 at the age of seventeen. Two weeks into basic training my right arm turned off; complete neuropathy caused by the vaccines they administered. Despite this, I pushed through and completed basic training (with one arm, I might add.) I was sent back home to recuperate. It’s a little hard to get a job with one functioning arm, so I was stuck at home for the remainder of that year. One day I picked up my iPod touch, which had a camera, and shot a short, funny video. In that moment, I fell in love with the art of movie-making! From shot composition to the edit, I was enamored with it all. I made another video, and another, until I was making a new video every week. At last, I decided to take a leap of faith and change the very direction of my life – I enrolled in film school. Twelve years later, I am the proud owner of Phaeros Films Production Company LLC. We specialize in brand promo videos, wedding videos, real-estate cinematics, and even music videos. It is my dream to grow my production company into a feature-film-producing studio!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been littered with bumps! A hundred insurmountable trials raising their ugly heads on my journey forward. But, in every case, these bumps in the road turn out to be steps in a staircase. Each time they come (these challenges), I kick, and I scream, thinking they will be my undoing, and yet every time, by the grace of God, I rise above and am better and further along than I was before. For example, in 2020, Covid hit, and I was furloughed from my job at Universal Orlando. At first, I was greatly afraid, not knowing where my next paychecks would come from. But, now that I no longer had to go to work every day, my time was free to dedicate toward my film business. By the time Universal was ready to take me back, I had grown my operation so much that I did not need to return to work!
We’ve been impressed with Phaeros Films, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Phaeros Films is a production company dedicated to illuminating the world to the knowledge and love of Christ through the power of cinema. It is our passion and goal to produce films which will inspire and shape a generation. Aside from movie-making, our company specializes in:

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is knowing my Creator and being fully known by Him. From this relationship, everything else that’s important to me – my wife and my soon-to-be-born daughter, my family, and friends – all are made rich and full from the union I have with Jesus.
