Our team at Fravel Brewer Orthodontics has one overriding goal: to provide the best orthodontic care in the area. When Dr. William Fravel opened the office in Ocoee, he knew the way to accomplish this goal was to provide exceptional customer service, offer state-of-the-art techniques and have fun in the process. Many years later, these same characteristics continue to serve as the blueprint for success. This blueprint can only be realized with the right team. We now have a two-doctor practice with Dr. Breck Brewer joining Dr. Fravel in 2018. We are fortunate to have an incredible group of team members who love to help each other and to serve our patients. As a result, our practice has developed into a successful small business that has served the community of West Orange County for over 30 years.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It is safe to say that over the past 18 months we have all experienced unexpected challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The dental industry has certainly been affected by these new risks and changes. Initially, we underwent a six week shut down of all services. During this time, we had to formulate new ways to communicate with our patients and to determine ways to safely address emergencies. Once we returned to the office, our challenge became how do we continue to provide orthodontic care for current and new patients while keeping our team and patients safe. Along the way, we made many decisions with input from all resources and an emphasis on safely continuing to serve our community. I am happy to report that looking back over the year, we had no breaches in protocol and none of our team members were infected with COVID as a result of our precautions. At this point, we have returned to normal operations with only a few modifications. It has been a difficult year for all, but I am proud that we were able to continue to bring a source of brightness to our community and a beautiful smile to many.

Our motto at Fravel Brewer Orthodontics is a ‘Lifetime of Smiles’. Of course, we are in the business of straightening teeth, improving bites and creating beautiful smiles, but we like to go one step further by making sure that we put a smile on your face along the way. While I am proud of the clinical work that we do to address the dental issues, the thing that sets us apart from others is our commitment to customer service. Our exceptional team loves what we do and we want it to show. We get to know our patients and their families along the way. It’s a big day for everyone when we reach the end of treatment.
What does success mean to you?
Dr. Fravel and Dr. Brewer truly believe in their community, not just the new smiles they help craft, but also the smiles they bring to patients’ faces. For a practice like this, success is not measured in the contracts and profits, but in word of mouth referrals and Google Reviews. We take pride in what we do everyday. We provide a worthwhile service to children, teens and adults and we try to make that service as easy and fun as possible along the way. Our success is measured in satisfied patients!
