Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Frazier.
Hi Brittney, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a proud Miami native with Caribbean roots. I am the daughter of hardworking and inspiring parents. I am grounded in the values of social responsibility, curiosity, family, fairness, and joy. I have built a life centered on connection, growth, and purpose. I am lifelong enthusiast of health and wellness, I am a retired half-marathon runner, a devoted fan of hot yoga, and a seasoned traveler who delights in exploring new cultures and traditions.
My love for wellness has deepened into a passion for herbal medicine making, an ancestral practice that grounds me in creativity and gratitude. Through this tradition, I educate others on the importance of cultivating lifestyles rooted in wellness and personal responsibility.
My professional career started in public service as a Public Health Educator and has now transformed into working for one of the nation’s largest nonprofit healthcare systems, where I see my entrepreneurial journey as a natural extension of my vocational path. My experience with personal wellness, public health, and healthcare systems are interconnected pathways, each offering opportunities to help individuals and communities achieve optimal health.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Since my business is still in its early stages, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is managing my own expectations. Having a big vision, knowing it may take years to fully realize, is both humbling and motivating.
Most of my income currently comes from community markets, which I love because they allow me to connect with people face-to-face. Still, being a vendor at outdoor markets in Florida comes with its challenges, especially the unpredictable weather. Additionally, launching a product-based business requires a significant upfront investment, although it has become easier to manage over time.
Balancing everything while working full-time has been another challenge. It pushes me to be intentional with my time and energy, making sure I give as much dedication to my passions as I do to my career.
Entrepreneurship is not a smooth journey, and I don’t think it’s designed to be. There are lessons at every turn, both personally and professionally. Limited resources, outdated systems that slow growth, balancing personal life, and even the lack of business etiquette in certain spaces can all make the road harder.
That said, I believe entrepreneurship requires resilience and clarity of purpose. When you stay grounded in your goals, the challenges become stepping stones toward your own version of success.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Crafted By Nour was born from both personal experience and professional passion. It is an online wellness boutique dedicated to handcrafting organic herbal tea blends that nourish the mind, body, and soul.
As a trained public health educator, I’ve always been committed to helping people make informed decisions about their health. Over time, I began to notice how often women, myself included, shared stories of struggling with reproductive health challenges such as fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and gynecologic cancers. These conditions are often linked to environmental factors, lifestyle choices, endocrine disruptors, and stress.
Herbal tea became my bridge. Rooted in a tradition valued by cultures worldwide, tea offered a gentle and accessible way to start conversations about women’s health, self-advocacy, and self-prioritization. Last spring, I even visited Cha Gorreana, the oldest tea factory in Europe, which deepened my appreciation for the craft.
Today, I create tea blends that support reproductive health, the nervous system, and immunity, sharing them online and at community markets. What inspires me most is the connection, meeting women where they are, hearing their stories, and offering tools that empower them on their healing journey. I believe herbal medicine alone isn’t the answer, which is why I focus on teaching women how to advocate for themselves, ask the right questions, and build healthier boundaries to protect their mind, body, and soul.
Crafted By Nour is more than tea; it’s a movement toward creating a culture of care where women can prioritize their well-being. Bringing joy, education, and nourishment through each blend is what drives me every day.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see the wellness industry expanding rapidly, not just in size, but also in scope. The Global Wellness Institute projects the global wellness economy to grow at 7.3% annually from 2023 to 2028, reaching nearly $9.8 trillion. This growth reflects a shift in how wellness is viewed, moving from being considered a luxury to becoming an essential part of everyday life.
I expect to see a stronger emphasis on integrative approaches, where wellness works hand-in-hand with healthcare rather than existing separately. Emerging areas such as wellness tourism, traditional and complementary medicine, and workplace wellness are especially exciting to me, and I’m eager to explore and deepen my knowledge in these spaces.
For me, this growth creates meaningful opportunities to expand my work and meet people where they are, whether that’s in their communities, workplaces, or while traveling. Ultimately, I anticipate a major shift: wellness will move beyond being an individual pursuit and evolve into a collective, systemic priority that shapes how we live, work, and connect.
