Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Amaral.
Hi Carlos, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2018, Carlos and Victor began their partnership and friendship, working as mechanics for KHS&S Contractors on Disney’s Star Wars – Galaxy’s Edge project. They quickly gained the company’s trust, taking on major challenges and leading teams with natural ease. Their leadership skills shone again in 2020 on the Star Wars – Galactic Starcruiser project, where they guided their teams to success under Disney’s high standards. In 2022, their journey took them to Naples to oversee the Ritz Carlton renovation as Superintendents, managing a team of over 60 people and delivering another successful project. This experience sparked the idea of starting their own business, and V&C PRO Builders was born.
Despite initial challenges, such as balancing side jobs with their responsibilities at KHS&S, Victor and Carlos remained committed to their vision. In July 2023, they fully dedicated themselves to V&C PRO Builders, quickly making a significant impact in the construction industry. Their success is a testament to their leadership, teamwork, and the dedication of their team members who continue to make things happen.
Today VC PRO Builders has over 80 people collaborating to success.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. But we put in the hours, the work and the effort so other people look and say it looks easy.
As every business owner, we have to be ready to do whatever is needed whenever is needed. Selling, Over Head Costs, Billing, waiting to be paid, putting a team together, people’s emotions, reinvesting, etc.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Be courageous, believe in your vision and build your future. It won’t be easy but if you don’t start or give up, it will indeed be impossible. Understand your clients emotions and needs, deliver it even if it cost you some of your profit. Or even if you lose some money, it’s better than to lose a client. Keep it up and lucky will find you working
