Today we’d like to introduce you to Cody Palmer.
Hi Cody, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Hi! My name is Cody Palmer and I’m an Associate Broker/REALTOR® with Core Group Real Estate here in Orlando, FL. I was born and raised in Georgia, but grew up a Gators fan and would eventually attend and graduate from The University of Florida (Go Gators!). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Advertising with a Business minor in Entrepreneurship.
After college, I discovered my interest in real estate investing where my love for the industry would initiate. In 2018, I transitioned to real estate full-time. I wanted a career that brought value from helping others–and coupled with my fascination for the industry–it was a perfect fit. I always said I wanted to move back to the sunshine state one day and did just that to expand my business. I am currently licensed in both GA and FL and want to continue helping everyone I can with reaching their real estate goals, whether it’s buying their dream home, selling, or investing!
I plan on being a part of this wonderful Orlando community for the long haul. So far I have been fortunate to plug into the community in some amazing organizations such as First Presbyterian Church of Orlando with Senior Pastor Dr. David Swanson and Rev. Tanner Fox, Alliance Jiu-Jitsu | Bruno Malfacine, and the Central Florida Gator Club.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a smooth road. I would, however, say it’s been a rewarding one though.
Real estate is extremely competitive. It takes years to really become grounded in learning the necessary skills to be a great REALTOR, as well as growing and nurturing your network. At the end of the day, people are what drive our business.
Without friends, family, and new relationships forged, I wouldn’t have a business. This career path has taught me a lot about myself and I have been fortunate to meet some pretty incredible people along the way.

I’m not big on luck. I’m a firm believer that if you want something in life, it’s up to you to make it happen. With enough hard work and consistency, I think just about anything is achievable. If you want it, go get it!
