Hi Darwin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Founder of The Social Monkey, our story begins with the need to learn a new art, since my profession belongs to the science of communications, one day wanting to make a photomontage for the university, I decided to buy Photoshop and start using it for my university projects, one day, my classmates asked me to design an invitation card for birthdays, and they all liked it, from that moment I began to receive requests to design cards, my phone number reached the Dominican Republic, and from that moment I started designing for different companies and important artists.
The Social Monkey was born more than 12 years ago, in the city of Barinas Venezuela, with the need to help small businesses, offering them a quality service, at a low price, in 2018 it was consolidated as The Social Monkey, an advertising agency.
Right now, we have more than 5,000 services performed in different countries such as: Equatorial Guinea, France, Germany, Spain, Cuba, Russia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Venezuela, England, Canada, and our main clients the United States.
For us, it is gratifying to be able to see our success in the different companies that trust our services, since we design from a small sticker to a high-traffic online store, and the important thing is that we have easy payment and good prices.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the difficulties that we have presented in this process is the payment method since there are many countries, many forms of payment, I am currently in Venezuela, and as everyone knows, there are economic restrictions in my country, being the most used, Paypal, bank transfers throughout the United States, western union and zelle, the most used platforms to enjoy the advertising service.
