Today we’d like to introduce you to Debby Tapia. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Debby Tapia has been with The Maile Image, Modeling & Acting School for 33 years. Right after she graduated from Evans High School she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do. So, she enrolled as a student in the Image & Confidence Development Program. Just to give self-esteem, confidence and direction for her future. After she completed the Image Program that taught her life, leadership, public speaking, interviewing, makeup and more she decided she wanted to pursue the modeling & acting business. She then enrolled in the Professional Modeling & Acting programs. She found success in the business and booked jobs for Disney, Harley Davidson, Hard Rock, and local Malls to name a few. After completing the programs, Debby started working at The Maile School part-time as a receptionist, one day a week. After a time, she gained more experience and hours. She then worked in Public Relations for the School as well as teaching in the many classes at The Maile School. She is a certified Etiquette Consultant trained at The American School of Protocol in Atlanta, Georgia. She works with a non-profit organization called Empowered Girls Inc bringing growth, awareness in young girl’s lives by mentoring them. Debby feels anyone can achieve success as long as they feel and have confidence. Debby is an instrumental part of the school’s success.

We assist with getting an agent and connecting our students with the right people. Most important we help you avoid scams. *there are a lot out there. The Maile school has many successful students working worldwide in the business. Grads such as Mandy Moore on the NBC hit show This is Us, Michael Campion who plays Jackson on the Netflix show Fuller House, Stefanie Scott was on Disney’s popular show ANT Farm, Jack Griffo who played the role of Max Thunderman on Nickelodeons The Thundermans, Norm Lewis was on the ABC show Scandal and was the first Black Phantom on Broadway as Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Tony Robinette on How I met Your Mother, Leah Lewis on CW”s Nancy Drew and many more.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Teaching at The Maile School and helping students achieve their goals and building their self-esteem. Mentoring you girls with life and leadership techniques. Teaching Etiquette… Avoiding bullies etc. It is very rewarding…
