Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Torres .
Hi Diana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2012/13, I received my BA in Accounting while raising a 5-year-old and a newborn. Due to a medical condition, my husband decided to stay home and help him with the administrative task in our fairly new electrical company. As I worked on this, I realized that we were seriously in financial trouble due to our lack of budgeting and record-keeping. Through continued education and hard work, we were able to turn our financial problems into a thriving and profitable business. After helping some friends with their businesses, I knew I could help others do the same. So I turned to social media and found my people. I started Strategic Bookkeeping in 2019 with my sister and partnered with some incredible professionals to help my client’s business. At Strategic Books, we are about the three F’s Family, Fun & Finance. We know the chaos of running a business & a household. That’s why we partner with businesses whose passion is their families and their business and maybe burning the candles at both ends. We are known for turning chaos into cash through bookkeeping for that reason alone.
You wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
This road was rocky, for sure, between my husband and I businesses and running a house with three kids(2 with ADHD), a dog, and my POTS syndrome. Our family had to develop systems that worked for all of us. A lot of hits and misses, but ultimately we figured it out and functioned like the well-organized chaotic family that thrives on respect, forgiveness, and laughs.

We know mindset & intentional money management is a vital business tools. We partner with our clients to give them those tools for a profitable and sustainable business through education and bookkeeping.
Any big plans?
I am passionate about helping others. I have a financial business plan for new businesses and more training for small business owners on their mindset and the importance of cash flow (which includes why bookkeepers can help keep you accountable). As well as helping more bookkeeper’s through branding and outsourcing with my bookkeeper’s keeper white label firm. I also have a podcast in the works (1/2023 tribe & trust—when she speaks)
