Hidden Gems: Meet Edmary Granadillo of Herbalife

Today we’d like to introduce you to Edmary Granadillo. 

Hi Edmary, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Edmary Granadillo, I am Venezuelan, a lawyer by profession, and the mother of a beautiful 6-year-old princess. 

In 2017, I decided to emigrate from Venezuela to Chile. Once I was in Chile I used to perform as a commercial executive in a renamed company of the city; a job that at the moment required a lot of my time, efforts, dedication, and emotional exhaustion since I was under a lot of pressure and stress. 

Regarding this scenario, I began to gain weight because the eating disorder that I used to have; and I started to do many and crazy diets that were not sustainable over the time. At that moment I felt so frustrated and my self-esteem started to be affected since none of the things that I was doing worked for me. until I heard for the very first time about a 21-day challenge with Herbalife, even though I didn’t have the best references, I decided to live my own experience. 

In May of 2019, I obtained my first results using the supplements, accompanied with good and balance nutrition without eliminate any macronutrient; I began to fall in love with the fitness world and I decided to join to the network marketing with the company, so this way I would be able to help more than 100 people to achieve their physical and health goals. 

In this process I have felt active and happy with my results, to the point that in just 12 weeks I was preparing for a bodybuilding competition in the bikini category where I won the third place, competing with amazing and experienced athletes. Since then, I have always been looking to train myself, not to be the one who sells a product but rather the one who offers a service. 

I am currently a wellness coach in nutrition that allows me to do this business in more than 90 countries. I was able to discover my passion in transforming lives and giving my clients back their security and self-confidence just the way I obtained. Also the possibility to learn everything related to a lifestyle that can be sustained over time. 

I thanks God for this opportunity to grow, reinvent myself, and advance in a business that allows me to be a full-time mom, which has given me back trust and belief in my potential and, above all, understanding that we are capable of achieving everything what we want. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In this process I have had long challenges; The first one was when I moved from Chile to the United States and when I arrived here, I had to work in demolition where I spent long hours away from home and my family. At that time I was doing business with Herbalife as a part-time basis. 

In 2020, I had the worst experience since my parents came to visit me and my dad got COVID, he was confined in the hospital in the intensive care unit and just at that moment I lost my job due to quarantine and I decided to take advantage of my part-time business since I needed money to pay all the bills and meet the commitments we made. 

I want to encourage you that crises are synonymous of opportunities because at that time I had two options: stay anguished without knowing what to do or simply take advantage of it and reinvent myself 

Thanks to my business opportunity, I was able to generate enough income to cover our expenses, and since then I have been able to dedicate myself full time to doing this. 

Never give up, no matter what happens today in your life, trust and believe in yourself and you will describe how you are capable of achieving everything you set out to do.
