Today we’d like to introduce you to Eileen Mendoza.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story begins in 2017 when I started with my husband a security business and I worked as his Assistant after having established the business, Hurricane Maria happened and without light in Puerto Rico, it was very difficult to continue with the business.
We made the decision to move to Florida, where our journey officially began.
I started working at the airport, but deep inside I knew I was made for more, I knew I could start my business once again.
I began to educate myself while working and that is how my business as JE Social Media Manager and now my personal brand Eileen Mendoza began.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I can safely say that it has not been an easy road. When we arrived in Florida, we had only 10 days to find a place to live and we lived day by day to get it. Thanks to this experience starting my business from scratch once was a little easier, but the reality is that every achievement takes effort.

Since 2017 I help businesses to position themselves using social media and technology to their advantage. We live in extraordinary times and every business must have its space on the internet and this is my superpower.
After 5 years many people have approached me to know what I do and how I have achieved it, this is how the Academia de Asistente Virtual arises where I help women who want to start their business as a Virtual Assistant and work from home.
In the agency, we offer social media management services, email marketing, website creation and development, and everything that helps businesses to position themselves on the internet and gain visibility.

I am very introverted and people think otherwise.
