Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Villarreal, an Orlando-based professional organizer and the founder of Your Home in Bloom.
Hi Erin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started Tidy Home Co. in 2022, inspired by my own experiences growing up with ADHD. Since I was young, I’ve needed systems to stay organized, and I saw how much having those systems in place could make life feel less overwhelming. That passion stuck with me as I got older.
In 2023, I graduated from UCF with a degree in business, knowing I wanted to create something that helped others find peace in their spaces. Through Tidy Home Co., I’ve been able to combine my love for organization with my belief in the power of a calming, functional home to support mental health.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but the challenges have been some of the most valuable parts of the journey. Balancing starting Tidy Home Co. in 2022 while finishing my business degree at UCF in 2023 taught me a lot about perseverance and time management.
I’ve also learned the most about myself through this process. Growing up with ADHD, I’ve always needed systems to keep me grounded, and running a business has required me to create even stronger ones. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, learning how to trust myself, adapt to challenges, and stay true to my mission of helping others.
Building a consistent client base and navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every step. The struggles have shaped me into someone who’s more resilient, resourceful, and passionate about the work I do.

I work with clients to transform any area of their home into a functional and calming space, whether it’s a pantry, closet, garage, or entire room. My services also include interior decorating and moving assistance, offering a holistic approach to creating homes that truly work for the people living in them.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see the home organizing industry continuing to grow as people recognize the connection between organization and mental health. Personalized and sustainable solutions will become even more important, along with a greater emphasis on eco-friendly practices. Virtual organizing and coaching will likely expand, making services more accessible. I also see a closer integration with interior design, as clients look for spaces that are both functional and beautiful.
