Hi Farrah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2014, I started my business selling Saffron and later expanded my company to include a line of loose tea blends. As an immigrant, I grew up eating meals in my home country with many of these ingredients, and knew of the ingredients’ healing power. I wanted to transform my knowledge and passion for these healthy, all natural ingredients into a mission-powered company that would help the general public. For example, I knew that saffron is a powerful spice that has aromatic and aesthetic qualities, but includes a vast network of benefits to support digestive, brain, and mental health. I created the loose leaf teas to cultivate unique blends to not only provide beneficial health qualities but also to help the environment. I learned that most traditional tea bags contain high amounts of plastic and chemicals that are harmful to the body. My loose leaf products avoid these kinds of environmental harm both in their packaging and in their composition of 100% natural ingredients, no preservatives, and no artificial additives. More than anything, I wanted to create a product line that would help both people and the environment!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I first started the business by selling Saffron, my biggest challenge was educating the public on the power of Saffron and loose leaf teas. Over time, Saffron has grown in popularity and people have noticed the poor environmental and bodily impacts from drinking traditional tea with plastic packaging. My product line also includes a variety of unique herbal blends and ingredients; I often explain to customers the profound health benefits to educate them on the advantages of the product. Although most people still drink coffee over tea in the United States, my goal has been to illuminate the power of tea as not only a morning or afternoon beverage, but a powerful supplement and medicinal support tool.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I have lived in Orlando, FL for over four decades and I owe a lot of credit to my local customers for the way they organically spread the word about my product line. I am always open to feedback from my customers and the reviews my products receive inspire me to create new, unique blends to help more customers. Moreover, I am grateful to my husband and my kids for their continuous belief in me to continue to grow a company dedicated to supporting the welfare of the public while also protecting the environment!
