Today we’d like to introduce you to Irving Vierma
Hi IRVING, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
This is my story.
I have always been linked to the country and its culture since I was a child because of the work that my father did in the 70’s and 80’s, however, I never imagined that I would have to emigrate and leave my country of origin, that was simply unthinkable. My last tourist visit to the U.S. was in 2001 and I would never have thought then that 11 years later I would have to emigrate to never return to my homeland. Which happened in 2012 when for reasons of life or death, I had to leave Venezuela and emigrate to the US where my family had already come 4 years before. My sister is a citizen by birth and settled in the Orlando area.
With only a suitcase and $1,500 in my pocket, I set out to reunite and reinvent myself, my career, and my life.
After multiple procedures, setbacks and sacrifices, I achieved my residency and years later my citizenship.
In 2015 I became certified as a Notary, working in a UPS store and in 2017 I became a Medical and Life Insurance Agent license, which constituted a business and career path that directed my life towards what I have currently been able to build, not without effort and sacrifices: A name and a portfolio of satisfied customers with IV VIERMA, My Entrepreneurship
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a graphic designer by career and with my knowledge, I was able to land as such in a UPS store in mid-2015. I remained as a graphic designer and associate, 1 year in the Kissimmee store and 7 years in the Dr Phillips store. In 2016 I was recruited by an MLM organization and began studies to obtain a license as an insurance agent. I left that organization a few months later and became an independent agent.
Although I obtained my 02-15 license as an insurance agent in 2017, I continued working my way towards economic independence, employed in my job as a designer and associate at the UPS Store in Dr Phillips, until February 2022. That was when I registered my name IV VIERMA and then my company just a year later, in 2023. Since then I have better developed my area of customer service and attention in the health and life insurance industry, having more time available for it.
I draft and write health and life insurance policies, as well as Medicare Advantage plans. In this area I specialize in the ACA health insurance market, also called Obamacare.
As a notary public, I perform and celebrate wedding ceremonies in Florida, both in English and Spanish. At the UPS store alone, I have performed more than 10,000 notarial acts since 2015 to date.
I also provide interpreter services at the USCIS immigration office for clients who require it in their immigration interview, for the English and Spanish languages.
My passion for knowledge and culture has motivated me to promote the message of “taking over your life” under the teaching of Stoic philosophy on social media.
My competitive advantage, which separates me from other competitors in my field, is my dedication to providing and cultivating valuable content with each client and follower, because in the end, knowledge is the only thing that can never be taken away from you.
The label “Take over your Life” has been a strength to face personal, family and professional challenges, of which I am very proud, because I am a product of it.
What I want my readers to learn or take home is the valuable content contained in the phrase on my label. If they apply the stoic virtues and take control of their lives, my services and offers are considered successful.
What are your plans for the future?
I hope to be able to expand and extend my message to a broader community, so that everyone understands the power of knowledge, through personal growth and that my office can reach more people in all states of the American Union.
