Hidden Gems: Meet Jaysee Soto of Altamonte Family Hearing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaysee Soto.

Hi Jaysee, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I began my career in West Palm Beach, Florida over a decade ago and have been dedicated to helping the hearing impaired ever since. Supporting individuals on their journey to better hearing has been one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and I continue to find joy in making a difference in people’s lives every day.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me into the professional I am today. Like many in healthcare, I’ve navigated changes in technology, insurance, and patient expectations. One of the biggest challenges has been helping people understand the importance of addressing hearing loss early—and overcoming the stigma that sometimes surrounds hearing aids. But through it all, the relationships I’ve built and the lives I’ve seen improve have made every hurdle worth it.

As you know, we’re big fans of Altamonte Family Hearing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
At Altamonte Family Hearing, we’re passionate about helping people reconnect with the sounds of life. We specialize in hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and ongoing hearing care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Over the years, we’ve grown from being just another option for hearing aids to becoming a trusted leader in our community—and that’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to best practices in hearing healthcare. One of the most impactful tools we use is Real Ear Measurement, which allows us to precisely fit hearing aids based on each patient’s unique ear acoustics. This ensures the best possible hearing outcomes, and it’s a standard we believe every patient deserves.

Our goal is not just to improve hearing, but to improve lives. We want your readers to know that when they come to Altamonte Family Hearing, they’re not just getting a device—they’re getting personalized care, ongoing support, and a partner in their hearing journey. We’re here to make sure no one in our community has to face hearing loss alone.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that listening—truly listening—is just as important as helping others hear. Every person’s journey with hearing loss is unique, and taking the time to understand their story, concerns, and goals makes all the difference. It’s taught me that success in this field isn’t just about technology—it’s about trust, compassion, and connection.

That’s also why we make the intentional decision every day to offer hearing technology from all six of the leading manufacturers. We believe our patients deserve options that meet their acoustic, budget, and aesthetic needs—because one size does not fit all. When you lead with empathy and prioritize individualized care, everything else falls into place.
