Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Jenkins.
Jennifer, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started in medical school! While attending medical school years ago, I realized that although I was on a path to help others when I became a doctor, it was not my truest passion. I then followed my dreams and have no regrets whatsoever and here we are ten years later, planning some of the most beautiful events worldwide.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every business has struggles, but one could always overcome any obstacles that are put in your way. When planning events, such as weddings, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes that many people would not even think about. However, being the planner that I am, I always plan for the worst, meaning I always have a backup plan for any event that we do so ultimately, it becomes that smooth road we always see!

I Do Events is a wedding planning service based in Windermere, Florida. Owner Jennifer Jenkins is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and has been organizing events for over ten years. A certified wedding and event planner, she also uses her experience to act as a mentor to newer coordinators. Jennifer and her skilled team of planners can combine professional service with creativity to help organize the unique wedding you have been envisioning. Couples looking to hold their wedding in Orlando, Miami, and New York can avail of Jennifer’s years of knowledge. Destination weddings can also be planned for couples who want to travel further afield. I Do Events has organized a range of different celebrations, from a civil ceremony to an elaborate double wedding to an elopement.
Couples can choose from three pre-designed packages, from day-of coordination to all-inclusive planning, to suit whatever stage of the planning process they may be at. I went to school for many years to become a Pediatrician. After my last year of internship, I decided to pursue my passion and started I Do Events. Planning events is our truest passion and we enjoy every minute of it.
