Hidden Gems: Meet Jennifer Morales of JLynn Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Morales.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started messing around with a camera since about the age of four and living in Stamford, CT from Brooklyn, NY and it was just something that came natural to me, growing up I remember wherever ever we went whether to a family member’s house or the corner store or even to a school event I always wanted my camera with me at all times and take pictures of pretty much anything I could I and I DID! Lol. Years after moving down to Florida, I suddenly stopped and never picked up camera again til camera phones came out. Now yes, I may be a tad young, but I was raised with the Polaroid cameras and taking disposable cameras as well and getting them developed at a Walgreens, Walmart or CVS. But times have changed and when camera phones came out, I thought I had the hottest tool out there! I must say I’m grateful for a dear close friend of mines who no matter what has always supported me in this path, one day saw my pictures and was at an awwww and didn’t even realize she was starting at one of my photos. She gave the what in the world stare look as if why haven’t I done anything with my photography, and I couldn’t even answer her. But I went home and said I am talented and my photography pictures are absolutely beautiful and I can make it. Here I am today pursuing my forever dreams!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Staying on top of the newest trends of photography Learning different techniques in editing and in how to take photos.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I love what I do! I love to be different, I love to create my client’s vision and see it come to life. The faces and reactions I see is what fills me up with Joy & Happiness. Some would say oh it just a picture, and I see it as art! Art of themselves, family members, closet friends or could even be art in their line of work but it’s something beautiful and you will always have a memory of it. I’ve specialized in nature photos, but recently I have expanded to real estate photography, travel photography and family/Single photography.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Great Family & Close friends.
