Hidden Gems: Meet Joseph Boy of Your Computer Solutions Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Boy.

Joseph, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Joseph Boy is the founder and principal of Your Computer Solutions (YCS), a technology services company built to provide reliable, honest, and practical IT support for individuals and small businesses. YCS was created to address a common frustration Joseph saw repeatedly: technology providers who spoke in jargon, oversold services, or treated clients as tickets rather than people.

Under Joseph’s leadership, YCS focuses on long-term stability, preventative maintenance, and clear communication. The company supports clients with computer repair, system optimization, troubleshooting, setup, upgrades, and ongoing technical guidance. Joseph is known for explaining complex technical issues in plain language, allowing clients to understand not just what is happening with their systems, but why it matters and how to prevent future problems.

YCS operates on a service-first philosophy. Rather than pushing unnecessary hardware or software, Joseph evaluates each situation based on the client’s real-world needs, budget, and workflow. This ethical approach has led to strong client retention and long-term relationships built on trust, consistency, and accountability.

Joseph’s background in managing multiple technology environments has made YCS particularly effective for clients who rely heavily on their systems for daily operations. His ability to diagnose issues quickly, implement durable solutions, and remain available when problems arise has become a defining characteristic of the company.

In addition to his work in technology, Joseph is an experienced talk show producer and media engineer, producing multiple shows that air on broadcast television, including in the Los Angeles market as well as local podcast and youtube productions. His work in media began organically through The Tiberius Show, a family-friendly talk show hosted by his son, which has been running for over seven years.

What started as a single show evolved into a broader production operation as others recognized Joseph’s ability to manage the technical, logistical, and operational demands of television production. He now oversees multiple programs, handling production coordination, scheduling, guest booking systems, and broadcast delivery.

Joseph’s production style emphasizes professionalism, preparation, and efficiency. He applies the same systems-based thinking used in technology to media workflows—ensuring that shows are consistent, organized, and broadcast-ready. His experience includes developing show formats, producing educational and youth-focused segments, and managing content designed for both entertainment and impact.

Many of Joseph’s media projects highlight positive values, leadership development, and thoughtful conversation. Through youth-centered programming and structured segments, he has helped shape content that encourages personal growth, responsibility, and constructive dialogue.

Joseph also produces a show called 3rd Side Convo hosted by Bob Phipps a local CPA. This show has an approach that focuses on stepping outside of polarized debate to examine issues with fairness, logic, and respect.

Joseph frequently engages in public discussions around complex and often controversial topics—particularly immigration policy and the rule of law. Rather than framing these issues as “us versus them,” Third Side Conversations aim to separate emotion from policy, personal attacks from principles, and rhetoric from facts.

Through media appearances, online discussions, and structured dialogue, Joseph advocates for conversations that apply the same standards to everyone, avoid personalizing disagreements, and seek clarity over outrage. This philosophy aligns closely with his belief that strong systems—whether technological, organizational, or societal—require clear rules, accountability, and consistency.

Third Side Conversations are not about winning arguments; they are about creating space for honest discussion without hostility. This framework has become a recurring theme in Joseph’s public-facing work and influences how he approaches leadership, business, and media production.

Across technology, television, and public discourse, Joseph Boy brings a rare combination of technical expertise, operational leadership, and principled communication. His work reflects a belief that systems—when designed thoughtfully—can support people rather than overwhelm them.

Whether he is running Your Computer Solutions, producing broadcast television, or spending time with his son Tiberius, Joseph’s guiding principles remain the same: integrity, clarity, accountability, and service. His career continues to evolve at the intersection of technology, media, and dialogue, with a focus on building platforms and solutions that are both effective and meaningful.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Joseph has often built projects without large teams, corporate backing, or guaranteed funding. Whether growing YCS or producing television content, he has relied on persistence, adaptability, and self-education rather than institutional support. This meant learning through trial, error, and long hours, while still delivering professional-level results. The goal is to teach his son to be self-reliant and accountability. Getting divorced also created finical issues while ensuring fair and balance structure for his son.

While Joseph may have had a hard childhood, he did not want to pass that onto his son, Tiberius. He wanted to prepare him for a world that is unforgiving. Tiberius responses with using the concepts of the heart of a LION, with Leadership, Integrity, Obedience and Nobility.

So dealing with running a company while managing a production studio and being a good father can be a challenge. But setting goals and priorities is the only solution.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
YCS specializes in computer troubleshooting, system setup, optimization, and ongoing technical support, with an emphasis on long-term stability rather than quick fixes. YCS helps clients understand their technology instead of overwhelming them with jargon. Every solution is tailored to real-world needs, budgets, and workflows, ensuring technology supports productivity instead of becoming a source of frustration. They offer a monthly service agreement that covers your computer and allow remote support to solve everyday needs. They mainly deal with people frustrated with their computer, and their main goal is to make the computer work for the client and not the other way around. Started at 12 years old Joseph rode a bike with two computer towers on each side and an old CRT monitor on the basket in the front.

Now YCS manages computers all over the US remotely while maintaining the personal touch with the ability to talk to each and every client.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Referrals are one of the most meaningful forms of support. Recommending YCS to friends, family members, or businesses in need of reliable IT support helps expand our reach and allows us to continue providing high-quality service.

Service engagement is also a direct way to support YCS. By choosing YCS for troubleshooting, system maintenance, or technical consulting, clients help sustain a service-first business model built on trust and long-term relationships.

As far as for the production studio

Sponsorship and underwriting are key ways partners can support our work. Sponsors help fund production costs while aligning their brand with professionally produced, family-friendly, and values-driven programming.

Guest participation and expert contributions are another form of support. Appearing as a guest, subject-matter expert, or featured voice helps bring fresh perspectives and valuable insight to our audience while expanding reach for both the show and the guest.

Content partnerships allow organizations, educators, nonprofits, and brands to collaborate on segments or episodes that align with shared values and messaging. These partnerships help create purposeful content while maintaining editorial integrity.

Finally, audience engagement—watching, providing feedback, and participating in conversations—plays a critical role in sustaining the studio’s mission and growth. Visiting shows like: The Tiberius Show, or 3rd Side Convo, Crack me up with Don Thomas or Chocolate and Coffee break is always a great way to support. Also commenting on those video on Youtube is a great way to let the hosts of those show that their content is useful to you. It also allows Youtube to increase the number of times they offer that video to others for their enjoyment.
