Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliana Green
Hi Juliana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Juliana Green and I am honored to be asked to share my journey as an entrepreneur. I am a cardiac nurse who back in 2020 decided to open a boba tea shop in our hometown Clermont FL. When I first learned about boba tea, I was fascinated by how delicious and unique the drinks were but even more by how the treat became something my teenager and I did together and made memories for a lifetime. I wanted that for our little town. After much prayer I trusted God to guide me on opening Teamont Boba. Success followed and we were able to grow and provide employment for many young adults. I stayed with Orlando Health for the following 18 months before transitioning full time into the store. Shortly after that I was blessed with the opportunity to open Main Squeeze Clermont, a very unique lemonade store serving 31 different fresh lemonades in unique cans (spiked lemonades too) and quickly became a destination spot for locals and visitors. After that we were invited to run the Cafe at Lake Sumter State College where as an alumni I once attended and couldn’t order because I couldn’t speak English (I am originally from Brazil). Full circle – we currently serve over 300 students a day at Teamont Cafe. After that we opened Everything Local Co, a unique retail store that sells local gifts for all occasions. We welcome over 30 local artisans and use this special space as a way to give back to our community. Our Prayer and Praises wall is magical and a place where people feel safe. After Everything Local I opened Teamont Boba Groveland and The Wave (açaí bowls, fresh sugar cane juice and empanadas). We are currently working on project number 7 (the Seventh) and are able to employ 31 young adults. I am passionate about promoting a healthy work environment as we introduce first time job young adults into the workforce. I believe all businesses are Gods and I am just managing them. My story is a testimony of the power of community, dedication, and mission. I couldn’t do any of it without my husband, daughter, sons, my mom, my work family, friends and our community. I especially couldn’t do any of it without Gods direction and grace. Thank you for your interest in my story. I am committed to making our community better and I would love for you to visit our stores located in downtown Clermont, right outside of Orlando.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say overall it has been a very smooth road. Daily operations present challenges of course but wisdom comes from my faith and has taught me many valuable lessons including resilience.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Main Squeeze Clermont, Teamont Boba, Everything Local Co, The Wave Bowls and more?
Best fresh lemonades served in unique cans, some spiked. Best Boba teas, handcrafted ice cream, locally made gifts, best açaí bowls, fresh sugar cane juices – there is so much between all the stores. They are all uniquely decorated and very special in their own way.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can support us by shopping locally – and following us on social media and by sharing about us so others can find us and try. We love collaborations. The goal is to provide employment, unique choices for our community, a safe place for families to make long lasting memories together.
