Hi Justin, can you introduce yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
When I founded the marketing agency Lincoln Digital Group™, my goals were simple. I wanted to help grow businesses using creativity, strategy, and innovation. I was very intrigued by the potential of “digital.” I wanted to learn everything I possibly could about it. So, I spent countless hours in webinars and reading case studies from marketing experts. My knowledge of the subject matter led to copywriting and email marketing opportunities. Which then led to social media opportunities. And then website and iOS application development opportunities. So, knowledge and understanding snowballed into opportunities and practical experience for me very quickly in the 2011-2013 timeframe. Since then, my team and I have been honored to serve businesses spanning virtually every industry in global markets, delivering B2c marketing solutions in 9 different countries. My quest for knowledge and passion for the industry has made me passionate about teaching and sharing my expertise. However, I can help other entrepreneurs gain digital marketing expertise.
You wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
It has been a challenging road. Over more than nine years, we’ve hit nearly obstacle that a maturing agency can expect: we’ve lost significant clients and key team members. We’ve screwed up projects. We’ve had communication and deadline issues. But despite all that, we’re getting better each day and are a B2C Agency of the Year Finalist for 2022. And that’s what makes you appreciate the successes even more.

What do you think about luck?
I got my start in digital by being in the right place at the right time. My earliest professional experience as an adult in 2007-2010 was heavily reliant on digital marketing. Still, no one knew of or referred to it as “digital” back then. Nonetheless, it was a natural fit for me, and I accumulated the interest and skills needed to develop some unique value in the space for others.
