Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Caraballo.
Lisa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began this journey because of my middle son Gabriel, who suffers from eczema. For years, he would scratch until he literally bled. Everything that the doctors prescribed did nothing for my son and gave him no relief whatsoever and I was past the stage of being fed up. It pained me to watch him suffer constantly and not be able to do anything about it. That’s when I said to myself, enough is enough. I started to research eczema relief and decided I wanted to create a soap for him. I researched and researched night and day and became obsessed with finding the best recipes and ingredients for eczema and skin relief. I looked for the healthiest way to make our products without using harsh chemicals and detergents that are in everyday soaps found pretty much everywhere. I decided to create my very own recipe. Well, let’s just say my son hasn’t had a flare-up in 3 years. I started to let my family and friends use the soaps I created. They loved them and were the first to tell me that I needed to start a business because my soaps felt completely unlike any store-bought soaps that they’ve ever used. I was actually helping other family members with eczema relief as well.
Since then, I’ve been obsessed with creating different soaps to help with a wide range of skin conditions from acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, extremely sensitive skin and more. I’ve even created a soap which aids with the relief of allergies and sinuses which is one of our top sellers. In this short period of time, we have grown exponentially due to the fact that we’re helping countless amounts of people and we continue to do so on a daily basis. Once people used our soaps, they refused to buy from anywhere else. We don’t do much advertising but our customer base is 100% organic because everyone is spreading the news. The soaps that we have for our men’s line are extremely popular. The first thing that people say when they approach us is that they’ve never smelled soaps like ours. You can actually feel the oils and natural butters when you touch the bars. This is the main thing that drives people to our soaps, but once you use them, it’s a totally different experience than the typical soaps that we’ve been accustomed to using. My best advice is to try it once and see for yourself.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, it has been a smooth road. The only struggle along the way was when we first started Joviale Creations, my children were homeschooled due to the Covid pandemic. Our family business and my children definitely kept me preoccupied. However, once they went back to school, production increased greatly.

What sets us apart from most soap brands is the fact that our products put us in a different bracket. The reason being is because our recipe caters to skin relief giving us the ability to help assist with skin conditions. What makes us so special is the fact that our growing customer base trusts our products which are very unique to what’s on the market and they actually work. With that in mind, there is a growing demand for our future products, which will have additional benefits for the skin. Therefore, everyone’s eagerly waiting and anticipating the release dates.

When I first started, I was shy dealing with customers. Over time, my confidence level increased and now it’s second nature when I interact with our customers. Joviale comes from the first few letters of my three sons middle names. Joel, Vidal, and Allen.
